my apoligies if i seem impertinent but i have many of these adult toys . and for the money they are really good value the trouble with any rc hobby everyone is so critical about a very advanced toy . its fun .most of the hobby cant see the wood for the trees ..just enjoy

No crack on, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Maybe I'm missing something though, as I'm pretty sure I said it was decent, there were just 3 things that I wasn't fussed on. We're spoilt for choice in this hobby, so obviously you're going to compare different models. 👍

These Vans are verry capabel. I run my rock van with (metal gears in the center gearbox) front wheel brass adapters ,metal beadlocks and RC4WD Mud Slingers now it climbs fantastic .IF you put some wet protect spray in too your servo it will be waterprroof i never change my servo and i go often "deeper underground" in small brooks. The esc box need also drainage holes in the plastic box because the electronics are sealed from factory.I try very hard on my Rock Van and it never break now with metal gears.

Awesome advice and sounds like a nice build. Main things i wasn't fussed on with it was the shocks and motor speed. 👍

I'd like to try the new Evo, see if that's any better. I'd say the FCX24 and TRX4M are better than the CR18. 👍

Nice one. I was considering getting this, but with the Unimog (Trail Hunter) body. I just wasn't sure. Instead, I've ordered FMS K5.

My mini consists of the scx24 fcx24. Very tempted for the next fcx24 k5 but fancy the builders kit and do a a-team theme one of these! Deff get yourself a fmx next!

Yeah I've been tempted by the fcx24 for a while, I grabbed this one as it was reduced. I do like the look of the fms K5. 👍 The trouble is, there's too many rc's I want! 🤣🤦

@@DoURC same too many out there in all sizes now. Get some man made wooden obstacles in the mini course of yours and get all your crawlers round it see what they can do!

@jayson s Yeah definitely, I'd love to try the 1/6 Honcho, but they're just so expensive, could buy like a 1/10 and 5 mini crawlers! 🤣 Yeah I've started work on some obstacles, want to have a bridge, some logs, may redesign some of the course too, as I only made it recently. I'm tempted to try have some rope bridges back and forth up the fence too, expand up where I can't go out. 👍😁

@@DoURC rope bridges seesaw and a nice chassis twister are the great fun. Just pick up the yikong yk6106 so my spending as stop just need to get them out and used!
