CHEAP Mystery Chinese Diesel Generator Clone | Will it START?

I have a generator just like this but it is an open frame. I have had it for about 10 years. The engine has a compression release on top that will allow the engine to start turning over easier. I would get some extra parts to have on hand they are very reasonable off of amazon or ebay. The engine is a chinese copy of a yanmar. The design is very easy to work on and repair.

Thanks for the info! Do you happen to have a model number so I can check out some parts? There’s no info or ID number I can find on the engine or housing
