Looks great. I bought enough for 2 vents. I was going to try a push/pull system. One on one side of the container pushing air in and the other on the other side pushing air out. What do you think?
@HarrisT10 күн бұрын
Sounds like a good idea to me! You’ll only need a Regular 2 position switch if you’re doing that, I think.

Sounds like the clutch and brake pedal pivot on the same shaft and must be dry of lubricant and hanging up against each other to a degree!

I lubed the the linkage up pretty well. Another comment mentioned bad bushings, which I think may be the culprit. Only one way to find out! Thanks for watching, stay tuned! 👍

Hi, they are not 2 stroke, they are 4 stroke. I've built and maintained generator sets for over 40 years, and I've never come across a lister 2 stroke diesel and yours is definitely not.

Ford used to sell a bushing kit for the brake and clutch pedal assembly. Kind of a pita to change but doable might even be some old videos out there on how to change them. Also you may have to end up welding a plate to the fire wall if you have a rust issue with the assembly mount. Last the clutch slave cylinder has a plastic clip which attaches the pedal to the shaft check too for wear. Good luck.

The brake shoes, housing and the backing plate their certain spots you’re supposed to have silicone gel lube, or no one has break lube that will help your brake shoes to fully retract and function smoothly

@HarrisT2 ай бұрын
I believe the guy I bought it from said 36-48 hours continuous load while powering his house. I don’t know how big the tank is though. Maybe 20 or 25 gallons. I actually might have talked about this in my last video about the Lister but I’m not sure - check it out. Thanks for tuning in 👍

@@HarrisT thank you so much for the feedback. I love those vintage Lister GenSets, why I had a suspicion that it could run longer than that. Great content.
