You could mount them on top of the slide outs (temporary)

I bought a 34' Airstream down in Punta Gorda. The previous owner started putting solar frames on the roof but never finished the project. Realistically how much do you have in your system and how long did it take to pay for its self?

@@michaelmoore7550 here’s a play list of the enter build, we did it in stages kzbin.info/aero/PLXL0DAEhCeew8ymmeXnQZbforpQDwK_e3&si=9aL7Ib6nwGVqAAgt I did do a cost video it’s in the playlist but that was before everything was completed. As far as paying for itself, already has with the freedom and secure it brings to go anywhere we want with power and not have to worry about crappy RV park electrical grid failing.

What about mounting the panels on the nose of the camper?
@saltytrips4 күн бұрын
@@shawnbeerens4292 I thought about that but no secure way to clip them on and the slide gets more sun per day than the nose.

@saltytrips I have contemplated mounting flexible panels permanently on the nose of my RV. I haven't seen anyone else do it but if you are out of roof space I thought it may work

I have a concern if you have an evaporative refrigerator in that you are blocking the air in and out with those panels on your slide. If you’ve replaced the fridge with a dc compressor or a standard fridge that’s a non issue. Otherwise looks like a nice install.

What ladder are you using? I'm 275lbs and need a collapsible ladder I can trust. My RV ladder is only rated at 250 lbs.
