I'm currently restoring a '97 Nautique. REBUILD!

I'm gonna vote to rebuild it. It's mostly because I found a '91 Brendella that Id love to put back together. Will be interested to see what locked up the motor. I'm going to guess there's at least one cylinder full of water.

It had water in one cylinder,it also bent a rod so it's time for a new engine

@@BCKarting yeah. Motors that sit up like that tend to lose head gaskets when they get warm again for the first time. Often all they need is a retorquing (or two) with some heat cycles (and no big drinks of lake) to reseat the gasket. Good luck - looks like a fun project.

@@benjaminearle I think it came in through the exhaust because it's missing a flap.When it cut off all the water slammed the back.But I'm not 100% on that
