I was happy this four-year-old video popped up in my suggestion box. We can easily see the progress the "tetu channel" has made in becoming better prepared for emergencies. It is also good for new viewers to not be discouraged when starting out. Set easy-to-accomplish goals like building a kit that will give you 72 hours of water and food along with simple shelter, sleeping gear and some spare clothing. Most emergencies are over in three days or less. Once you have done that, expand on your supplies and store as much as you can afford for longer-term emergencies.

I am very happy that you also watched my old videos. I hope it will be useful as a reference in an emergency.

@@tetuchannel I plan to watch all of your previous videos as time permits. When the US market closes at 4 AM PH time, I will watch as often as I can. What I learned so far is that you apparently got a good scare in a previous emergency /disaster and decided to take action to prepare. For your actions to prepare, I am happy because you are sharing your experience and that will help others. In the past eleven years, after moving to the Philippines for semi-retirement, I have been through more serious storms, earthquakes, landslides, and volcanic eruptions than ever before in my entire life. My location was a good choice and we did well. Deep inside, my soul hurts for those who were unprepared when disaster hit their area of the Philippines. My hope is to see folks make some preparation when times are good so they will not be hurt so much when times are bad. This is why I want to watch your entire story.
