The bead kit was most likely a free gift they threw in. Here in China it's common practice to throw random freebies into orders as a thank you and to try and ensure more positive reviews when the package arrives. My favorite freebie of all time was a sketchy bottle of lube that came with a bulk order of tissues.

Nothing is free you pay for everything. If you get something is because you didn't find the cheapest listing of the product and you didn't use a coupon. I do both (compare listings and use coupon that usually gives me a couple dollars off) and I've never gotten anything. I once got a black hair tie with a glowing children T-shirt i ordered and that was about it.

Yeah I got two RG353V (the purple transparent, and the black transparent ones) both of them for $24 with free shipping, and both arrived in 14 days. I honestly thought it was going to be a scam for sure, but for $24 bucks, why not right... Well it definitely wasn't a scam! Both were brand new, and work, and look great! I have a not too discimilar one (was £8 or something from ebay UK). My particular used case is... I keep it in my hospital go bag. Said bag contains all the usuals (clothes, gown, etc) but also contains a USB power brick, USB cables (micro, type c & lightnig), earplugs, etc, etc, etc.

If you gotta go low to the floor cheap for your retro handheld, get a Data Frog SF2000. It's got support for six different systems (and some of them run well!) and someone's working on a custom firmware that runs a lot more. This thing could kick some serious booty in another year. These things... will always be Famiclones.

Do not order any type of electronics from TEMU..... Some of their other stuff can be useful, my wife gets things for around the house sometimes, and not all of if it is junk. It's like wish. Order a USB drive, and 99% of the time it's fake...

I would never buy USB drives, or any storage from TEMU or Wish ever again. I tried from both, and it was all fake. To each their own, I am sure some stuff works out ok.

I suspect that this was all an elaborate ploy to get those amazing button organizers. You could tell he was trying to distract us from looking too closely at them. In my head, ETA giggled for about 10 minutes (off-camera), then started to knit up his little Anbernic, PowKiddy, Miyoo, and Retroid cozies and gave them all very smart buttons!

Hey Prime, Temu is headquartered in my hometown of Boston, MA.☺️.. I'm guessing they have a large wearhouse there with most of the popular items ready to go that allows for the short turnaround in shipping...I know some people report getting their items in 3 to 5 days ... As far as the items go, some items are better than others so not all of temu is cheap. They do sell legitimate anbernic handhelds there and retroid pocket. Might be worth mentioning the crazy deals and promotions they constantly have. Some people have made KZbin videos unboxing Nintendo switches from Temu that they got for $1-$10 with promotions from Temu. I'm tempted to get an anbernic handheld with the $100 off they constantly send me through emails.🤔

If you want something better that runs stuff off an sd card, it's gonna be closer to the $30-50 range. And at that point, you might as well grab an Anbernic or Miyoo. Also, a note. When an NES game or something is running too fast, it usually means they're using a 50hz PAL rom, but the emulator is set to NTSC. So it's running the 50hz game at 60hz instead.

The batteries look standard batteries from old phones. That "BL 5C" could be similar to the one from Nokia, so a buyer of these consoles can hope to easily find a battery to replace the original if the original starts failing.

There are like 2 suggested videos on my feed now talking about what a scam Temu is. While I don't doubt they're probably not the most wholesome, especially after this video, Aliexpress was considered a bit of a scam one as well. As with most companies do your homework, take it all with a chunk of salt, and a price that's too good to be true, probably isnt without a problem.

not gonna fault Temu for the consoles but aliexpress sellers generally have much better prices and packing, as for the consoles themselves I’d say they’re really decent for what they are, a lot of work clearly went into developing them, and all in all they’re pretty good famiclones, I’m probably going to grab a few after seeing this!

@@spiderprime you'll have to use the promotions, be a first time buyer, and then before you place your order you'll want to use their other promotion by recommending someone (It's called the team up promotion) that's never used temu, what I did was recommended my wife, and even though we used the same address it still worked.

But to be fair, if I had seen that offer of an OLED for only $7, I for sure would have grabbed that haha... But unfortunately I didn't lol, the best deal that I saw was the RG353V for 96% off, and it worked out because I didn't have one, and my middle son really wanted one to play N64... So it worked out!
