Extremely Low Cost Travels - Armenia - Part 2.
Armenia is a beautiful country with rich, picturesque nature. Unfortunately, it is a very poor country where people cope with the lack of availability of certain resources such as wood or heating fuel in an unusual way.
The current episode focuses on Armenia, which was our final destination in a journey from Central Europe through Turkey and Georgia.
In this video we focused on the regions of Armenia stretching from the majestic Aragats Mountain to the famous Lake Sevan. We will admire amazing Armenian nature in the vicinity of Aragats massif, in the area of Khor Virap State Sanctuary, and around the Sevan Lake. We'll also present a few very old historic churches like Khor Virap Monastery or Hayravank Monastery.
As usual, our trips are organized in the most low-budget way possible.
With own supplies and free accomodation in a tent it is possible to greatly reduce the costs of expedition. The total expenses for 1-month long expedition and covered distance of over 10.000 km were about 200€ per person.
