Just didn't sound "right" to me. Saw them open for Rod and several others. I'm hoping sound man was having a bad night.Never sounded this bad before.

Nothing against this drummer, but they need Bunny back. The drums are terribly tuned, and they were off in the beginning. I truly hope these guys are not resting on their laurels. They're still great but....

My God they're not what they're use to be. This isn't very good.

I thought they were awesome, but Everyone has an off night while touring and It wasn’t their crowd. They were opening for Heart. Go see a solo show if you haven’t and you’ll understand what I’m talking about.

@lorimcpeck3893 I've been a huge Cheap Trick fan since i was 13 lol the first time i saw them was in Baltimore in the late 80s and they were explosive on stage. I saw them in the 90s in LA and again, a powerhouse one couldn't contend with. In 2010 I saw them at SXSW and still one amazing band. Yes you're right, it could've been an off night but Rick's son playing the drums is a complete weak wash of Bun E. Carlos'power drumming. Rick's guitar playing in the opening of this video is just terrible and the closing of the song where Rick and Robin are suppose to play guitar riffs "answering" each other, was a mess. I'm happy you enjoyed the show, experiencing it live always adds to the experience, and don't get me wrong, I love Cheap Trick. But this is not what I would've wanted to see :(

@@johnnyalonso I bet CT was outrageously loud and the set probably had moments of RAWK like the old days and I sure didn't hear any autotune either.... To be fair considering their best 2 LPs came out 47 years ago and to have 3/4 of those guys still onstage with Zander still doing it I'd say they are FAIRLY GOOD. On the other hand ZZ Top had been doing Casinos (as Cheap Trick have) for decades with Vegas sets 12% slower pace, a tone down in pitch; the Stones are never "good"...we could go on about old legends being "good" 50 years later with hardly any old members but at this point that is beside the point. This fan video is not same as Live.
