Thanks Bun. Fascinating to hear how these songs evolved.

It’s interesting to see a photo of Jon Brant on bass with the All Shook Up stage backdrop. Was this backdrop ever used after the ASU Tour? I’ve never seen it used beyond that era that Pete Comita was playing bass for the band.

Wondering the same! its not a nitpick but being the fan I am, I've noticed when the photo occasionally doesn't match with the year/era...

Obviously, the scrim was used after Pete. And, yes, the pics don’t always match the year of the recording…..

@@buncarlos4588 Thank you Bun! The ASU era is among my favorite. Such a unique time all around. And I loved the backdrop and staging of that tour. And seeing it here today with Jon in the photo was a head turner! Glad the those scrims got out to good use beyond the ASU Tour. And any ASU shows you’d like to put up here are welcome! Especially the 12/30/80 Los Angeles CA show at The Forum. I was there….what a great night!!

In the fall of 1982 CT came to Central Mich Univ and that scrim was used. I have pics from that concert

So rare to hear Zander's voice cracking. It doesn't sound like the key was changed for the recoding. Maybe his voice wasn't warmed up yet.

We all know there are more songs than what made it to the edited version of that now legendary show. There’s even a Facebook page dedicated to that show. As well…have you heard and seen the Chicagofest rehearsal video that is up here on You Tube? It’s the whole set it’s just not with a full audience. It’s pretty amazing!
