I just bought this pedal for $20 on Reverb… and I love it! As a bassist in a hard rock duo, this pedal has added another dimension to my heavy sound.

I dig this pedal ...im just trying to get some Jerry tones and it does this quite well when you dial in the sweet spot.....the mutron III is obviously a better pedal but it's $700 ......the cry-bot is waaaay cheaper at $30 . im not in a GD tribute band i just do a few Dead tunes and this pedal is quite servicable and pulls that off nicely. Sonicake is a decent pedal maker and the pedal is ruggedly built and honestly youd never know how inexpensive it is by seeing it or hearing it. I have a sonicake acoustic wood multi effect pedal bar on my board too and i also like that alot ......great build quality and good sound at under $100 you cant lose

just got mine today and it's very hard to set the freqs and get good wah out of it. it's cheap and you get what you pay for.

Is it envelope filter or auto wah? Can be similar as crybaby? Thank you

Its an envelope filter, sort of its a little bit more pokey and aggressive than a crybaby and a lot harder to control. I gues it depends on what you want, I use foot wahs for slow sweep and envelope filters are terrible at that.

Nice job. This pedal is sort of an enigma to me. I don’t want to commit to a full wah-wah pedal and after reading d at one decent reviews bought one of these. It’s been on my board for months, but it’s hard for me to decide how to set it and what to do with it. Generally speaking, it seems like it has too many knobs that do very little to the tone. Then sometimes I pop it on and it sounds cool as hell. Weird.

I am about to pull the trigger on one for my bass guitar. I think it would be better than the built in envelope filter on my years old Korg ax10b multi effects unit, which kinda sucks ass.

Honestly as much as I love the pedal, I feel bass needs really good control on the sensitivity as its so dynamic (low end has a lot more energy). I am not sure if anything in this price range is precise enough. I'd save for a more bass designed pedal, maybe a qtron. There is a reason filters often cost a lot.

@@JimijaymesProductions too late lol already bought hehe. Should Atleast be better than the one bundled in my multi effects unit! Cheers for the advice anyway

I guess then that you can't respect David Bowie, Marc Bolan, Brian Eno, Slash... Respecting someone based on their aesthetic choice, poor mindset, really.
