Adam's wheel or iron remover are the best smelling chemicals you'd prefer to not smell. They're both still 100x better than most other iron removers. It's also far cheaper than most of the competition. Meguiar's DUB wheel cleaner also smelled good (relative) Was labeled Pine Caliente on the bottle. When you smelled it, it smelled like Pineapple but then the backend of the chemical smell would hit after and it would sorta burn your nose lol.

I have been looking for a solution to the rust spots that I thought were unique to Dodge/Mercedes Sprinters. Dealers just scoffed it off as rail-dust, but no suggestion how to maintain.... vehicle is now 10 years old, and the spots persist..... and even have a few that developed into blisters between the primer and finish paint. THICK GEL seems to be an advantage, if using on vertical panels, not just roof hood and trunk... so it does not all run off before reacting. I wonder if these products are paint-safe. My vehicle has no clear coat. It is as I am told a single stage powder coat with the clear coat "built-in".

I have been using the Griots for 2 years and I prefer it over Iron X. I have used the Meguiars wheel cleaner and it takes it too long to react for me. Griot's own product instruction video comments/answers show that their iron removers is safe to all surface including plastic, but we need to avoid drying it. I just purchased GG iron remover (have not tried it yet), because I do not want to damage lights and other plastic parts. Although it says safe, certainly this is one of the items that one needs to be more careful to deal with. It may be an interesting comparison which iron remover is the "safest" for novice users like me. As I do not do this process often (having only one car), I may make mistakes. If you can do simulation of possible mistakes, for example applying iron remover on plastic (black / clear) and let it dry purposely, that would be interesting. GG may make white spots, too, who knows (I hope not)! GG video also says it is highly concentrated liquid, so it is strong chemical. Thank you so much for your making fun and interesting videos!
