I got the strider beat, awesome shoes. Way better than the flow. The beat gives a tighter fit, but i took 1 size higher and that sorted it out. Cant agree more with you guys, spot on

Logical conclusion, but here's a question... If you have £200 to spend, is a £120 racket and £80 shoes "better" than a £80 racket and £120 shoes?

Personally I would I probably go for the £120 shoes and the £80 racket. My logic is the £120 for the shoes gets you into the top range in the market, where as £80-£120 for the racket will generally keep you in the mid range. Obviously this will vary depending on personal preference.

I remember a time when Yonex only made one shoe, but over 80% of pro badminton players wore them. They were so light and soft, but if you were a player that played every day, you'd wear them out in 3-4 months. Today's Yonex shoes feel like wearing bricks compared to those shoes.

That’s interesting, they are more durable than they use to be for sure. We find the Aerus shoes very light.

Interesting that you didnt include other manufacturers, especially when Yonex footwear is quite poorly reviewed compared to other brands. Victor P9200 are an absolute dream 👌🏻

Why are we looking at only Yonex shoes. I use Yonex shoes but I remember the Olympic women champion can’t use Yonex because they get really bad blisters.

They were the only shoes we had available to do the video. There are others available for sure that may suit people better. The wide fit option from Yonex was a good addition.
