Just received my Neewer Flywheel Slider today and I'm very happy with it so far.. I had to do some clean-up of the rollers and grease the handle, because right out of the box it was a bit bumpy, but it's smooth as butter now.

The Kessler's carriage has four inner bearings, the Neewer has only two. Which of course means the Kessler has a total of 8 bearings and the Neewer only 6. If you're defining stability by the amount of bearings, then the Kessler is naturally more stable. The Kessler's bearings are just harder to see, which amounts for a better design. But if you inspect it carefully you can see them.

Thank you so much for this review! I was thinking before that the „cheaper“ ones (which still cost a decent amount of money but are affordable) can’t be any worse than the really expensive ones... I mean they use carbon fibre, could it get any better?😂 I don’t want to spend so much more on a motorised slider and the neewer really seems to be one of the best options out there for smooth slides. This and a good tripod (I have an eye on the neewer tripod as well. The big one with the 4 rods on each „pod“ combined with the fluid head for just about 120€ I think) is a killer combo! I really want to buy them though 270€ is a fair amount of money (even though you get a lot for it). Christmas is around the corner maybe Santa will acknowledge my wishes😂😂

You really need a burly/metal tripod and probably a 3-way head to handle any sliders, as the sliders themselves are quite heavy, not to mention camera equipment mounted on top. If you want to use a fluid head, any fluid less than $500 will not hold those sliders steady enough, speaking from my personal experience, as my Satchler Ace M barely hold the setup steady for those footages. Try find a second hand Manfrotto tripod, they usually can be had for great price, same for a 3-way manfrotto head. It's much stable that way.

Li Fan thanks man for your Tip! I reckon the Satchler is probably the same one as the neewer since all of these things are just rebranded and sold as „better tripods than the other“ 🤣😂 Which Manfrotto Tripod can you recommend...?🤔
