I'm going to show you how inexpensive rulesets like Gaslands and Song of Blades and Heroes can be combined with cheap 1:72 scale miniatures.
Wait till you see the great stuff I got from Ollie's!

I recognize the boxes in the screenshot. That's a Ukrainian company that makes miniatures for conan and lotr too. I found them while looking up cimmerian troops for my gaming wants. Their prices are cheap and the quality is good. Glad they are getting some exposure!

Hey Dorian! Scott Drudge here! Long time no see! Glad to see your posting again. This video popped up on one of our devices and had to check it out. Great finds there at Ollies -- Makes us want to head back over to Ollies (was just there yesterday!) and pick up some of the games and toys you pointed out. My son and I also do 3D printing of miniatures for game play as well. Terri & I live/work in FL and our channel has been covering "The Detecting Duo" as we metal detect the beaches down here. In case you click through my "New Things New Tech" you'll see that and other stuff we cover. Still doing magic? Was fun when we were both doing that way back when! Cheers -- Scott

Excellent to hear from you Scott! I do enjoy watching your videos. I'm glad that you and your family are doing well. You and Jerry both wound up in sunny Florida. 3d printing is an excellent hobby. My gaslands cars use 3d printed wheels and engines. I do still work on my illusions, just not professionally :D. I enjoyed the work that I did for Make a Wish Foundation and working the Anthem 5k. I've been working on resurrecting very old effects. Mostly I'm working on a ring routine using 4" rings. I also do a lot of work with coins. I've settled into being a slight of hand artist. Thanks for reaching out!

@@InfamousPeanut Spent too much time going from Arizona to Indiana and back. Finally found some place we like a lot! Glad you're still into some magic! You'll have to post your routines! We try to stay active, but just don't devote enough time to the art right now. Our son Nick and I try to keep up with Close Up stuff. Went to Seminars/learning sessions with Michael Ammar when he was in KY and IN in 2016. Ammar is a true master and learned a lot from Dai Vernon - Professor of close-up! Got to get some first hand stories about those days! We learned a lot from Michael Ammar! I also study Dai Vernon a lot! Then other sessions with Brent Braun up in Indy who is from Henryville originally and gets magicians on Fool Us. He has a magic store and theater in New Albany IN, I think. Video here of Terri working a trick with Brent: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWbad6Njd52HbZo Other sessions with other top known magicians here and there. Also met up with Lance Burton in 2019 at Daytona magic convention. Nick had disappeared on stage with him in Vegas 22 years ago! Learned a lot of CU stuff from various Magicians at that convention. Anyway more than you wanted to know!

@@TheDetectingDuo I wish I had been able to attend more lectures. I really would have liked to see Ammar. I did see Kozmo at one point. I've also been to a Jay Scott Berry lecture. I really like some of his ring work. I have been mixing finger ring and ribbon magic in with my other work. A lot of the coin moves work with finger rings as well. It is an excellent way to have some magic on the go. At some point I will film my current ring routine and send you a private link to it. I don't like sharing videos of my magic work at large ;). I think you will like what I've done. It takes some moves from a couple of different sources. Great for walk around work.

I've recently raided ebay for 1/72 bargains for a zombie apocalypse game using USEME rules. Dark Alliance models are terrific but ive struggled with mould lines. Cutting and filing have not been satisfactory. I've used the exact same grey and white spray paint method but ill have to be careful applying colour. Got some actual 1/72 emergency services vehicles, for pennies again on ebay, some military vehicles and even WW2 Airfix soldiers which i will bend to my settings!
