In this video I fix up an old 1994 Jeep YJ Wrangler w/ a poorly done spring over axle conversion. Thanks and God Bless! Link to grab handles w/ rechargeable lights: amzn.to/3vYXRhd Email: griffmparker@gmail.com

Save the squares! Finally someone posting a YJ. Im going thru the same thing with a 92 islander. Swapped out the gears added ARB air lockers front and rear, 4.5” lift, upgraded to crome moly 30spline axles, NV4500 5 speed, Atlas II, and working on dropping 4.0 stroked out to 4.7L. Old jeeps are so worth the effort to restore. Keep it going!

Changing the fenders and grill pretty straight forward. Back to factory green would be great.

Great deal on the yj. I have a 95 yj. Love it. Its forest green, tan soft top.

Might have to revisit the drivetrain and change some mounts underneath, Green would be really cool.

Jeep Wranglers are awesome. You got a good deal on that one. I like both of your thoughts on the color, that green back in the day was a nice color. However, I love white too. The front fenders are not hard to change, they bolt to the bulkhead/firewall and then to the grill. I like where you are going with this one. I had a 90 with a 4 cylinder and a lift and 33” tires and it was horrible on the highway! Fifth gear was useless. I always wanted to take the lift out and return it to stock, but never did. I love those wheels, I think they were called gamblers back in the day. Keep up the good work man, I’ll be watching.

Thanks man! Yea this thing is fun, I’m enjoying cruising it around town. Good to hear that changing fenders isn’t too difficult.

Just painted an old truck with Rustoleum gloss white turbo cans. Turned out like a matte white that covered a multitude of sins. done in an hour for around a hundred bucks.
@griffparker14663 ай бұрын
Very cool, I’ve never used the turbo cans to paint a car, but I’ve seen videos of others doing it. It will probably be cheaper for me to use a sprayer though since I already have one and some left over paint sitting on the shelf. Thanks for watching!

Hello Griff it's been awhile, JEEP Life Now if I'm not mistaken that's still the 2.5 Iron Duke Engine they'll go through hell before they blow up just not the fastest little thing 😂 Good Jeep to get you into it, I could be wrong but I think that particular year and model is sought after a lot of jeep people like them, and yes everything looks original and needs some Griff Love and Videos, Good To see you Brother .

@@deandye3255 yea sometime when we get some nice weather again I need to change all the drive line fluids. I’d be surprised if they’re not contaminated and/or low.

Always best to keep it SAFE when it comes to Jeeps. 😂 I Would drop it to thw ground as close as I coupd het her😅. She would look really good in Emerald Green for sure. Thats if you don't mond the dents and all. 😂 Some people would even call me crazy about dropping her too. See I've owned a jeep before and thays why i said ALWAYS keep them safe. Mine was a 1980 CJ5 and I rolled her 4 times doing only 50 mph😢. All of us libed out of it but she was totaled. She was lifted up 4 inches also so I don't lile anything sitting up high anymore. The higher things are, the more top heavy they become. Always have to respect Jeeps no matter how you drive and who you are.
@griffparker14663 ай бұрын
Dang that’s some scary stuff man. Yea I haven’t felt the need to go rock crawling so I like my vehicles at a reasonable ride height. Also easier getting in and out.

Check the motor mounts , if there bad it will flex the engine
@tdg01013 ай бұрын
They may have swapped the factory ones with a higher sitting mount.
@tonyparson43923 ай бұрын
Looks like it might have 1 inch engine mount lift on it. A lot of people do that when they raise them up.
@griffparker14663 ай бұрын
That would make sense, I’ll check that out. Thanks

Great score! You cant touch any Jeep up here for less than 3500.

I’ve heard that the newer jeeps have issues. I had a friend who had one and sold it within a couple years saying it wasn’t reliable and such.
