honestly, I feel like Asia in general has adorable and useful stuff. I’m from India, and I found some blocks (this was about 5 years ago) they were portable and entertained me on the flight back to where I live.

More like east, southeast and south asia (thailand, china,india etc) . Thailand has several stores originally coming from japan (bangkok mainly, but even in small cities etc you often find nice stuff ,also for anime fans), i often bought stuff from japan in thailand (a lot of companys work or sell theyre stuff to the countrys in southeast asia and the rest of east asia). Specifically Thailand, Taiwan and the philippines are the most targeted countries for stuff from japan (most japan fans of Asia come from there) , the company owners in japan know that ,hence why most things like that are sold the most in east and southeast asia, more than any other region anywhere in Asia, south asian countries like india are right after... Ofcourse not anything that is similar to the stuff they sell at that store (the one she got her stuff) or even comes from japan, but a lot does....so.

When you step into miniso, you'll WANNA BUY EVERYTHING. Everything is so cute and CHEAP, it makes you don't hesitate to buy those cute things. Everything Minori said is true and I have to agree. The quality isn't the best, but absolutely not bad! (Considering the price, it's totally worth it). Even when I'm short in budget, I still like to go to miniso just to see the cute stuff

Here in Dublin, (Ireland) We have a Mini So and it is soooo disappointing. It's so small and they prioritise children's toys (always Marvel, Adventure Time and We Bare Bears) and some more basic items you'd easily find in any other shop, and some items are actually quite expensive. That penguin pencil case you got is €12.00 here in Ireland :( But I did get that phone holder arm that was attached to the shelf- super handy! Also, I'm an October baby too!

The store size and selection is so much bigger at the one you went to compared to what I’m used to in Toronto. Granted I’ve only seen like two locations in Toronto and both are small/inside big shopping malls. The licensed stuff gets rotated once every month or so. I don’t know if I have weird timing but on the rare occasions I do browse, it’s almost always We Bare Bears. 😂 The prices are good and the quality is pretty decent. I have a couple of phone chargers from there that have lasted me quite a few years now.

There is a Miniso at The Eaton's Center in Toronto that I go to all the time that I LOVE!! Edit: next to Poscas, Miniso makes my favourite paint pens. They have watercolour and acrylic paint pens. I also got a lot of plain Washi tape that is just single colour tape I use in my bullet Journal

I went to the Miniso store in my Country because they had some We Bare Bear Stuff and a 20% off on all items I bought some Earphones for myself ( my old ones don't work ) and a Grizz Bear Notebook ( you can see this at 5:54 the notebook which has a Brown Bear on it ) honestly I really like this store's Stationary one of my most favorite has to be their Notebooks they have good quality paper and cover I will recommend this store if your looking for Cute Stuff at a reasonable price ( the prices are different in other countries though ) 💜✨ Also their Stationary is a must have I like to collect stationary so this is my go to store to buy some 😂✨✋ EDIT: I forgot to mention that the Miniso in my Country is kinda small it doesn't has Towels and stuff it mostly has kitchen supplies, Stationary,skin care products and makeup AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PLUSHIESSSS
