At this price you cant really fault it. Aye people might argue that having 4K on a 24inch monitor just isnt worth it but when you think about what you can get at £120 then sod it, why not have 4K at 24inches ! ! ! This would be a perfect second monitor for home workers or for those with limited space. Thanks for the video Mike, appreciated as always :-)
@mikesunboxing3 жыл бұрын
yeah it is going to depend on what your needs are, for content consumption it is like a large Ipad with hi res. For esports it really isn't a great idea as you are likely to go to 1080p and then is is going to look fuzzy. But like you said for the money the other 1080p monitors none of them stand out as being amazing so thought id give it a go and definitely not disappointed

Pretty good imo considering the price point 🥰👍 Great find Mike 🤩🏆🥳! You’ve found some real treats lately with the so called “budget” items which seem to be hitting a bit above what their pricing would normally allow. Keep up the great work.

I would say there ok monitors but be warned. I've had 3 give up on me with screen issues. The first one I bought was the 1080p 165hz and after a month a large row of dead pixels started to show so laptops direct changed it for me and when the second on arrived and I set it up there was also a cluster of dead pixels in left corner. So back on the phone to laptops direct where they upgraded me to 1440p 95hz model which has been great for year till recently there's pink line started showing up on right hand side. I believe there reconditioned pixio monitors that have been rebranded. Still a great review Mike as always.

I've been thinking about buying this monitor. The price does say that corners are being cut, and the response time is a little high but for 4k and decent HDR, it sounds like a very good deal. I couldn't really see anything in the video with regards to blurring, have you tested it further with other games? Blur is the one thing I can't really tolerate.
@mikesunboxing2 жыл бұрын
the blur is fine as it is 60hz so unless your are trying to use it at way over or under the native frequency it is fine. I have used it for my streaming pc and movies and games and it is very good
@Senrab463 жыл бұрын
Good review Mike. When I need to replace a screen for kids I probably will look at 1440p as 4k demands a lot of horse power when gaming. But for streaming from netflix or prime then 4k has a benefit 4 sure. thanks for sharing Mike and Kath👍

I bought a electriq 4k 144hz monitor and couldn't be more happy about it since its £400 when I bought it, the only issues I have with is its really finicky when it comes to switching channels and it has 2 bright spots on the top left corner only seen when the screen is dark. Otherwise fantastic monitor

I have a 27" 4k 60Hz monitor and I find it great for use on my PS5 as well as my PC. Some People say 1440p looks terrible on 4k monitors but to my eye it looks perfectly fine, so each to their own. At this price point you could bung a Chromecast or whatever in it and use it as a TV 😁

this will work fine for me. wfh and using Adobe Photoshop along with 1080p to 4k photo and video editing, it will be fine. 1440p screens are also good for basic to medium Adobe photoshop work. tested at a friends house the 1440p screens are very good. i wish when i bought my screens that i bought 1 BenQ 1080p and another 4k monitor but man I can get a 40 inch 4k tv for less than the price of most marketed 4k 27-32inch monitors out there. some are going for nearly a grand. you could turn your living room into a mini family cinema with a very good 65inch 4k tv for the price of one of those major brand 4k monitors. need more reviews like this and more open mined real world testing like this. end of the day we each make our on mind up on what we want but good to see and know that options like this are there. so be mindful what your primary use is for the monitor you want and remember... they also chug power. utility bills going up in April, then might happen this October. When you buy a monitor, you want to hear the voice of a certain Knight from a certain film saying "You chose wisely..."

For gaming, I'd pick the 1080p 280Hz model - similar price if you don't count the refurb option, or the 27" model of this (£130 refurb) would make better use of the 4k resolution

@hardscopextfx46432 жыл бұрын
Would this be good for the series s ?
@mikesunboxing2 жыл бұрын
it is a little slow for the refresh rate at 60hz. The answer is more complicated than a simple yes or no. The Xbox Series S doesn't have the hardware to push for true 4K gaming for most games. The console instead targets 1440p (or QHD) at up to 120FPS. However, players with 4K TVs can still enjoy 4K media streaming, and the Xbox Series S will upscale games to 4K to fit the confines of your display

Have the 95hz 1440p 27 inch based off the Pixio, cost 150. It's alright, though recently lines of red/green/blue pixels have appeared (changes every so often. Sometimes its fine then they come back).
