Ive found over the years that they always overstate the occupancy number but I think they have a weird size chart because in general a 1 person tent is only big enough for a teenager, even before the covid90 hit me I found a 2man tent limited but I'm 6' and (back then)200lbs.That doesnt always hold true though because the one person you have up looks like it could fit you and 2-3 youngins but it is a teepee style. I used to carry a very basic "2" man pup tent, I really hate crawling in and out but some campgrounds say you cant sleep in your vehicle and in other areas it did make a good spot to place stiff from inside the vehicle giving me more room.. Im surprised you got it folded back up and in the duff, The last tarp I set up I could only fold it to about half its original size... lol
@AdventureswithSpackmann3 жыл бұрын
@Doc Ink yes 100 percent on the sizing chart. I’ve had some really small tents that I hate to get in and out of. I used to have this tent called “The Pocket Tent”. It was a single pole half dome style tent. That thing was so small. I wonder if I still have it or not. Thanks for watching man!

Those stitches may be where the seam ended. Not necessarily a spot where you’ll have an issue if it was properly back tacked. We make world class gloves. We melt the thread ends where we cut the thread. But even if we miss one, which is pretty rare. The stitching doesn’t come loose. Our seamstresses know how to back tack their stitching lol. But all in all a solid review. They just throw things together. It’s fine if you’re gonna be at a campground or your back yard in decent weather. But that isn’t going to be fun or safe in any back country real camping. Expedition grade gear costs big money for a reason.

@@AdventureswithSpackmann we make leather gloves. Mostly bison, goat, and deerskin gloves. I grew up near the city of Gloversville…. I don’t brag about it, it’s a post apocalyptic kinda town these days 😂 but we have a glove shop there. It’s fitting since as the name would suggest Gloversville was the glove capital of the world. 90%of the leather gloves on the planet were made there at one time! Now there’s about 3 glove shops and a half dozen tanneries and it’s become an abysmal place. Still despite that, ourselves and a couple other shops are still putting out world class gloves on a small scale. I’m on insta, and post some glove stuff there. Thanks brother hope your holidays are blessed!

@AdirondackAmerican3 жыл бұрын
@@AdventureswithSpackmann ha that’s cool! Well, hold up bc I have a short story aboot that 😂 first, negative we don’t get leather from Townsend. They actually produce aviation leather for companies like piper, and Boeing. Also little known fact, they make the leather to reupholster Aiforce One every 4 or 8 years. Kinda cool 😎 Inactually worked for them twice and know the owners very well. My last stint working there ended abruptly when my arm was crushed in one of the leather presses! 4600 pounds at 180F… I can literally say I have leather in my blood 😂 the doctors put my arm back together well enough I reckon but that whole story would be a post in itself. We go through Sunderland in Gloversville up on Kingsboro Ave. The guys there are awesome, too. Townsend has a lot of high end and innovative products for everything from furniture to aerospace products. But sunderland has a variety of species to choose from for what I’m doing.
