Being a long time backpacker i own 300 dollar tents and have a Walmart backpacking tent which is going on it’s second season.so I appreciate you showing that anyone can enjoy the outdoors on a budget
@AdventureswithSpackmann2 жыл бұрын
@Erik Carey exactly! It doesn’t take a lot of money to get out there! One of my favorite camping experiences was in a $15 clearance tent from Walmart. We got almost 3 feet of snow that night and I survived in a $15 tent lol. Thanks for watching!

I’ve used a trekker 3 tent for years with my kids. I did seam seal it when I got it because I didn’t trust a $70 tent, but it’s worked great for what it is. I take my young kids, we have plenty of room for the 3 of us, keeps us dry, and if they put a hole in it or tear the screen….which kids do, who cares. It was only $70. It does weigh a tad over 4lbs, but still perfect for why I bought it….hiking in a couple miles and setting up a primitive camp site. Oh, and I spoke with the owner several times, great customer service and response time.

Love your reviews, great attitude! I've had one of these tents for a few months, went through a weather event w/35mph gusts, 19mph sustained winds, and thunderstorms..stayed dry as a bone without doing anything to it. I do recommend that if you get it, you pitch it rather tight in order to maximize space.

@mushercdn2 жыл бұрын
@@AdventureswithSpackmann Depends on how much water you boil. There must be an average amount of moisture exhaled from a person per 24 hrs. Slowly boil that off. A narrow or wide boiling container might affect things also. Maybe not even boil but "heat" at a temperature below boiling.
