I am a beginner but i believe with a decent amp it can sound good, and even better if you do some DIY on it. If it is a wood body, or even if it is not for that matter(mine looks same but plywood body), change the pickups( for a better quality ones), the nut, level the frets too if it buzzes and sand the back of the neck a little bit. At this price it could be a great guitar to customize, modify and experiment with.

Hi. Well Fender website for sure. Else try with Ebay or Reverb, but well can never be sure of authenticity on these two mediums. Depending on the type of guitar you are trying to modify, try Warmoth, there are many good reviews about it. If it is a cheap guitar try to make some DIY modifications before you invest in more expensive parts. Goodluck! :)

4:52 that's terribly wrong.. thicker picks have better pick action for electric guitars.. listen to Eric Johnson's lessons on this Also not all electric guitar tones need to have overdrive on them.. clean tones are beautiful and are used extensively in electric guitar playing.. listen to any classical Blues player

In single coil pickups clean tones are better. If you want that heavy distortion go for humbucker pickups. I think if you're paying 6000 for this guitar you should be able to stretch yout budget a little bit and get the fender squier mm strat for about 8500. It's way better that thit piece of garbage. In my humble opinion

Any, ANY electric guitar that's made today will probably be good to start on. A guitar will last you a life time, it's not food, there's no expiration date. Just buy what you can afford, make sure you put GOOD, brand-name strings on it (YES, it matters, A LOT), and if you can - take it to a shop/guitar tech to set it up properly. A simple set-up isn't expensive, and a cheap guitar that's set up well will play better than an expensive one that isn't set up properly. And sure, you can use an amp! you can do that with every electric guitar! Good luck man, and remember -practice makes perfect!
