I connected it with my laptop with Android os (prime os) I played beach buggy with two controllers split screen mode it works very well and played single player mode also it also works well And I tried connecting to my phone with otg connector I went to setting in my mobile and on the option otg connection it started to work well and I played beach buggy in my mobile also(realme c30)it will work in the phones with otg compatibility and I played it with ppsspp app it works well with both laptop and mobile

Make sure controller is charged. You need to try different usb ports. If no success, try resetting the wireless controller by switching it off (select + 2 or B) and then inserting a pin/toothpick/sim ejector tool in the hole (at backside of controller) for 2-3 seconds. Remove the pin. Now turn on the controller it will pair with the usb dongle.

Go for cosmic byte if you can.

If your buttons are 1234 then it is D-input. If the buttons are ABXY then it is X-input
