I absolutely LOVED my 200x in the snow, especially with 18” rear tires I had helping to take some tippiness out of it. It was an absolute ball ice riding out on the bay. Please tell me you’re going to get a real set of tank shrouds right? Even the oversized ones from Maier look better than what’s on yours Joe. Btw, Pro-Link was how Honda marketed their rear suspension linkage starting in the early 80’s so that’s just a stock swingarm you’ve got but painted blue.

It's always a great feeling when I tear down an engine that far and then hear it running again. Especially when it doesn't have any leaks or any other problems. Great job on this one. Good luck with your Quadzilla/Banshee. Stick with it, don't let it win! I still think that the piston is coming too far out of the top of the cylinder at top dead center. The cylinder has been milled or wrong piston or wrong head gasket thickness. Great drone footage. 👌 Again, good luck!
@ryancraig27952 жыл бұрын
Nice job. Go really easy on the gasket sealant. You don't want globs of that squeezing out into engine. And you might want to clean a little more thoroughly after honing.

aircraft remover works incredibly well on super old gasket bits left behind after removal. I use a small amount on a q-tip and run it around the mating surface and it turns old gaskets soft again and they come off like butter. Be careful with it, it’s super noxious. It neutralizes with water 👍 great product to have on hand with these old machines. Gets your mating surfaces spotless to ensure no leaks down the line. Be sure to use a damp rag and get it off/neutralize it before reapplying a new gasket. Cheers.

Looked like a total blast in the snow dude! Hey, with videography on the drone, if you're taking stationery video, keep it pointed away from the sun. Like on your first drone clip, you could shoot from the other end of the field. It'll help with dynamic range (light versus dark areas) and color balance. As a side note, think about looking into getting your Part 107 UAV Operator Certificate if you don't have it. Great info to learn if you're going to get more awesome drone footage. Glad I found your channel this week. Enjoying your content!

Get a real 200x thumb throttle, easier to hold the gas in the drifts than using the wrist while pushing the bars out. That machine is nice, nice work on that gear change. I'm finishing up my 400ex engine now, split the cases for the shifter shaft replacement. Also don't be afraid to really shift your weight to drift a little harder, think hips out with the drift.

2Vintage..Hey buddy I just wanna give u a idea for that Quadzilla that blew up on u twice.. If u put a spacer or maybe 2 gaskets before u put on the head,then do a squish test w/a(paperclip)+then check it w/the micrometer.U should get the right reading. I had a kx-125 big bore 80 over wisco piston.And kicked it over and it was idling.Then "click"-Motor siezed in 7+1/2 min.. Bought another piston and rings.But a cheaper piston,and I told the guy what happened.He said"The head must've been leaking" Anyway I took the "cheaper after market piston put it on the bike used 2-head gaskets+ gasket sealer.. Tightened down the head put the dome on..4-5 kicks the bike fired up.Stayed Idiling,little Rev's for about 20-minutes.Then it was fine.With that big bore on it.Wow it was fast.(But the moral of the story is it took 2head gaskets to fix my problem)
