I think humanoid robots are not mature enough for this era. Humanoid robots are more like toys. Their main role should be in factories or manufacturing industries. They will never become the Terminator. The end of humanoid robots is the end of the movie. If the humanoid robot in the novel cannot become everyone, then the humanoid robot is meaningless and is not as good as the mechanical arm in the factory.

that's well said, as of now if you buy a Humanoid Robot for personal use it will be more of for show off,,,to just show it off to your neighbours or on the social media but it won't play any meaningful part in your life.. even for factories, most of those Humanoids are just being trained and their use cases are limited because they're slow asf

Depends on what you mean by "era". These are incredibly advanced compared to only 3-4 years ago. 4 years hence.... watch out.
