Hello! In the coming days I will be uploading a video about this. I think it will give you an idea as to what to expect.

16.8v is 18v max, the same way that 18v is 20/21v max
@BrokeLifeEU3 ай бұрын
I also would think that, however as you saw in the video the battery is fully charged and only delivers 16.4 volts. Which turns out is 4 cells with a max of 4.2V each, but they can't be charged to the full 4.2V so end up even lower. It all adds up to 16.4V.

Great review as always! I think the auto telescoping bit feature is to keep you stressing that you've broken the fastener or stripped out the hole 😊
@BrokeLifeEU6 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for being so kind! That is what it does 100% of the time keeps you guessing what went wrong. However I noticed that when it does the sinking in part it delivers more power somehow.
@AnvarKamalov22 күн бұрын
@@BrokeLifeEU That sinking is actually a feature to fit Asian bit. It is longer because they have bits on each end (two sided). So it is not a defect.

Loosening does not require the same torque as tightening. Over 10% less torque required to loosen a fastener.
@BrokeLifeEU6 ай бұрын
Yes, but still I did not expect to see it anywhere near the 160Nm mark. I started the test with 120Nm and I though it was impossible that it would undo that bolt. On top of that with the adaptor it went after and took off the 160 Nm bolt.

@@BrokeLifeEU impact drivers are a pretty simple thing.. A spring and a rotating anvil. The cost is in the build quality, reliability and battery quality

I fully agree! But still it moves and well for €25 with battery and delivery.

@@BrokeLifeEU wow that's abysmal haha, that's probably about 0.7A of charging current. Standard "slow" chargers are 2.4A, so 3 times faster than this. High end chargers are about 17x faster. I'm a proponent of slow charging for battery longevity, especially for DIY, but this is a bit much 😅

Frankly, beating parkside competition easily. And cheaper. Major advantage of parkside tools is 1 year no question ask returning and warranty.
@BrokeLifeEU6 ай бұрын
I would also add that in general the Parkside quality is better. I am keeping this tool and I will try to use it when I can just so I can see how long it will last.

Parkside is 3 warranty for the green tools and 5years for the performance tools
@katarinak-vi7xc6 ай бұрын
@@yuriflynn2477 sorry, my factual bad. Obviously warranty is by default longer than returning period.
@katarinak-vi7xc6 ай бұрын
@@BrokeLifeEU of course I can't compare by any means with you and your knowledge. Nor I want to open discussion because i am low league. Just sharing my point of view, and I did it bravely. Lol. I noticed that parkside, at least here, often repack used items and also have solid number of faulty items among working ones. So, impact tools are, by nature of product, often criticized regarding quality and claimed specs. This tool for 30 eur with battery is more usable than my parkside impact drill combo paid 60e rated 25hm as I remember.
@BrokeLifeEU6 ай бұрын
No please don't worry about that! And also I don't know a lot about these tools. I do not use them professionally in any way. I just use them for some DIY so I am no expert by any means at all! And I think I have an idea on how to make it better but that is a secret for another video!

Yes, as long as it lasts. The issue I have with these tools is the stated warranty but absolute lack of it after delivery. I am sure some of the Aliexpress shops exist to make one sale and then close the web store 😅
