That rice cracker is very popular among Thais it is called "ข้าวเกรียบว่าว" meaning Kite Rice Cracker because it is thin and light like kite. When the old woman(The one selling cracker) talk to you and she ended her sentences with "Loook", it means she's calling you as if you were her kid.

This night market is near my house, just 2-3 bus-stop distance. 🙂 And there's a beautiful and nature friendly coffee shop called "The Glass Hangar by Snowy" in front of this coffee shop you'll see a small Thai airforce plane on display. It's stick to "Yaek-Kor-Por-Aor" BTS station, exit No.4... before arriving the night market. But it's opened only on weekdays at 7:30-16:30 and closed on every public holidays. In case you want to come to check it in the future. 🙂

Wow…I really miss kite rice crackers so much. I’m really glad for you to find them in Bangkok. I ate it once on a high school field trip to Nakhon Yayok six years ago. The locals made one for each of us while stargazing in the forest. Some slowly munch or crack it off and eat it into small pieces on the edges, or some like me found that crushing the whole kite into bite-size pieces was way more fun 🤣 I would like to recommend you try to be there also. Nakhon Yayok is north of Bangkok, It might take around 2-3 hours to get there by car (depending on the traffic😅) There are many national parks and national forests, so we the Bangkokians found that it’s the nearest place to get the cold breeze, camping in the winter. Khao Yai National Park might be most of our destination, but there are so many others to explore too! And I would not forget to mention that there’s a farm named “Suwan Corn Farm (ข้าวโพดหวานไร่สุวรรณ)“, which is actually the corn research center, and the sweet corn milk they sell was still the best I’ve ever had of a lifetime.🤤🌽💛
@ChovyTravel5 ай бұрын
Kite cracker was delicious 😋 next time maybe we can make them bite size too 😀 Nakhon Yayok sounds far! Hahah 😅 are there buses or trains you can take there? Corn farm sounds interesting and I’m sure Caroline would enjoy trying the corns there. She’s team CORN PIE 🌽😁
@bloop42555 ай бұрын
@@ChovyTravel Oh, sorry for my geological confusion haha. Khao Yai is actually in Nakhon Ratchasima, which is next to Nakhon Nayok, so I misunderstood. You can get to Khao Yai by van, minibus and train to Pak Chong District, which is the nearest place from Khao Yai. You can then rent a car, motorbike or charter a minibus to enter the park or travel around in Pak Chong. (ไม่ได้ไปเขาใหญ่มาหลายปีแล้ว ใครมีข้อมูลแวะมาช่วยกันได้นะครับ😅)

Hey guys, love this video! Maybe a silly question, but is all this food safe to eat (since it's mostly sitting there in the heat) or did you take Travelan or other precautions? Or do you have an iron stomach? LOL
@ChovyTravel5 ай бұрын
Thank you so very much! 😃🫰❤️🙏 I think it’s a valid question for sure! We believe it is safe to eat. We do tend to scout around once to see how busy the vendors get before we start to decide what to eat. We prefer not to choose the vendors that have a pile of food already prepared ahead of time. Some prepared and continuously preparing is something we look for. We hope this helps 😅. Btw, we can feel our stomachs getting stronger everyday 😂. Higher Spice tolerance as well. Loving it! 😉
