Absolutely! The S61 comes with Komplete Select which has plenty of stuff to keep you busy until the summer.

I ordered it and I am planning on upgrading to standard for $200. I don’t think I can wait that long to save $100. But I will be upgrading from standard to ultimate in the summer sale, unless I am confusing a step? But yea, thank you for the advice and tips. I don’t want to waste my time and budget on crumby gear. Its tempting but I think long term investment is best in creating music. Thanks again 🙏

Glad the tips were useful! Nothing budget or crummy about Komplete Select though, it's just a smaller selection of instruments but they are the full versions and are very high quality. Upgrade to Standard isn't $200 right now (unless they lowered the price?). It's probably $400 right now to upgrade to Standard and $200 in the summer sale.

I don't have all the products in that bundle, particularly the Brainworx ones, but I have all the other ones and I can say it's a crazy good deal for $50. Even if some of the iZotope ones are the Elements versions, they are still super useful. And in fact, most products in that bundle are the full versions, so definitely worth it. Not sure if I'll be able to make a video on time, as the offer is valid until June 15, but I will consider it.

beginner here but already bought the k13 ultimate last year. Thinking of getting a midi key, maybe s88 or s61. However I dont think there’s a discount just for the hardware right? No use for me to get a bundle because i already have the ultimate I missed the vapor gray s61 and its been out of stock for a while now

Nope, hardware isn't discounted. You can get some b-stock/used/demo units directly from NI's shop on Reverb for a decent discount. They don't have them available all the time but worth checking.

You can upgrade straight to Collector's Edition but definitely wait for the Summer Sale, you will regret it if you buy now.

Yes, usually you can buy upgrades at 50% off in June, so if you have Select, you will probably be abe to get a discount on an upgrade to Standard and Ultimate.

You said the (regular) K13 has the Kontact sampler? I bought K13 last summer during this sale, but don’t see Kontact in my Native Access. Are there extra steps required to activate it? Or is it *Within* the Maschine daw/software? Pls help, & Big thanks for the info! 🔊

It's in K13 for sure. Possible reason for not seeing it in Native Access is if you're on a Mac and you're on and older Mac OS version than the one required to run it. Otherwise it should be there.

I was specifically thinking about the fact that you can upgrade to Komplete 13 Ultimate from Komplete 8-13 all for the same price so I thought the same will be true for upgrading to 14 Ultimate from Komplete 8-13. And of course I don't know when Komplete 14's coming out and when there'll be a big 50% off sale on it, whether it'll be summer 2023 or 2024.

No Kontakt isn't included in Select. Uprage only works if you have the product that you're supposed to upgrade from. If you made a mistake you should probably get in touch with NI support to fix it.
