Hi Pete, I have only just purchased one of those the other day, it should arrive in the next day or two. Hopefully I get good use out of it as you have with yours. Thanks for a great review.

Thats great that the Holzfforma husqvarna clone has held up great for you. I keep meaning to do a review of my Holzfforma G660 that has been great but not without its issues too. Nice job buddy 👍

@@AppalachianLumberjack my Holzfforma G660 has been great, i have broken a few starter pawls and assembly but the saw itself has been awesome and started its life chainsaw milling and it still starts fine. Ill keep an eye out which one you went with.

@everydaywithmenick I've heard if you take up the slack in the pull rope before you pull it, it can help a lot. Do you do that?
@kdcustoms1272Ай бұрын
@@AppalachianLumberjack I'm only a few tanks in with my 660. Everything seemed great at first, but when I went in my shed a few days later, all I could smell was gas. The fuel line to the carb and the 90 degree elbow it connects to the tank with wasn't the best quality and was the cause of the leak. $13 worth of stihl parts fixed it. The saw has already paid for itself tho, so im very happy with it.
@kdcustoms1272Ай бұрын
@@everydaywithmenick also do you use the decompression release? I noticed mine starts with fewer pulls not using it but obviously it's harder to pull and will put more work on the starter assembly. I ordered a husqvarna decompression valve because many have said it's better.. idk it was $22 figured I'd try it😂

I bought one a month ago cut about 40 cords with it and it won't hold a tune for the life of me and today I cut a cord and it did its bullshit but I wasn't able to get a tune on it I'm hoping I didn't cook the piston ring and hopefully a carburetor will fix it
@garymcmullin2292 Жыл бұрын
likely suspects for your problem are a leaking decompression valve and carburetor. It also could be a leaking crankshaft seal but that I have not hears many reports of that. I have heard guys say get a neotec carburetor. Myself I searched out the OEM carburetor, spendy yes but I will not have problems. The quality control of chinese saws and saw parts is terrible, for some guys they are having success with the neotec carbs.

Almost $1,000 for a new Husqvarna. $325 for yours on Amazon. I dont know the screws or bolts to replace but doubt they are too pricey. My only concern is some clones require a lot assembly know how. Still this is tempting.

Is Farmertec and Holfzforma the same?
@cheaphomesteadingАй бұрын
Ya there the same.If you order it on the Holfzforma website it comes Holforma branded but it also has branding of Farmertec and definitely parts ordered from them are Farmertec branded. Thanks for watching

Thank you for the review. Especially given over time and use. I havent heard anyone say anything bad about any of the clone saws i am hoping to pick up something in the 70cc class. Preferably a Stihl clone.
