Chuck designed and built his trailer with 7 of his students from his Senior Center Woodworking class! He built it over the course of 4 months by working on it for 2-3 hours a day after his students helped him each day!

I wish all senior citizens centers had build projects instead of cards and puzzles. This would definitely keep people more engaged and mentally & physically active. The whole set up is so neat. Hopefully on down the road he can get a bigger door. And again Brian a great interview

We need more acknowledgement and emphasis on the "older" (ie experienced and wiser) folks, above 70, both genders, incl women who have done non "traditional" things. I appreciate the time and effort put into this build. Wish you could have shown a pic of all of your seniors who worked on it. They must be proud of this accomplishment.

Fantastic!!!! Love how the bed/couch works. Also really like that the trailer provides all needs as far as relaxing, sleeping and that the tent has a doorway right into it. The tent provides a lot of space. As said, fantastic job done by seniors and all this 87 year old senior can say is, "HATS OFF, GREAT JOB. May you enjoy every single mile you drive, every experience, and all the wonderful folks you meet along the way.

Oh, there’s so many favorite parts of the build! He is such a wonderful giving soul! God does bless those that bless others! My faves are the fact that the seniors can contribute more than we give them credit for and that he kindly passes it along as he travels with his sign, and the ingenious simple bed/couch build and the big windows to connect with nature n light! Awesome build back to the basics but here in Canada their isn’t many places open land to squat legally so a tent would be a pain to set up and take down often. I love how the Senior Centre got together and built this camper, great work indeed 👍

truly awesome! i love that the senior center built it and they all worked together gaining new skills. I used to hang at the Senior Center a lot especially in the last town I lived in for 8 years and the community was always involved. I miss it especially because of the low cost language classes

Thanks Brian, Nice Job. No frame to mention and 3/4" plywood gets the job done. If you take just one layer of fiberglass and then resin the top you really end up with a nice roof.
