I'm glad you like my vids! It's harder to find an audience when I'm reviewing cheaper, older and less trendy perfumes.... I don't show up in the algorithm and people seem to prefer reviewers who show their face, so it's taking a while to build up subscribers! I actually gave Vanderblit for a full day's wear and worked out that I love the drydown on my skin, but where it hit my clothes it irritated me as it stayed very aldehydic. Now I know to just wear it on my skin and I'm good!

I had no idea she had ever released perfume! Totally worth having imho (but maybe not if you don't like Adam Levine as they're kind of in that same group of sweet, warm, woody and slightly vintage smelling!)

Have you tried the Minuit a New York by Vanderbilt? It's a great bargain if you enjoy tuberose. Doesn't smell like a flanker imo, not fruity at all. Very pretty and feminine floral. 😍

I found a press release that says it has a tea note and a candy floss note and I feel like I understand this perfume more now! It's definitely smells like an updated version of a classic profile!

I have the Gloria Vanderbilt. She was a designer. You’d see her jeans everywhere in the 80s. I love the bottle, and I appreciate the fragrance for what it is but don’t find myself wanting to wear it. I think this kind of sums up my experience with vintage fragrance in general, at least the ones before 1980. I’ll have to spend some more time with it since I’ve probably only worn it a couple of times since I purchased it last Spring.

@@skinscentsforfusspots I’ll try to wear mine soon too. I wonder how it would do layered with a juicer pineapple to compliment the pineapple already in it. I may try it with BBW pink pineapple sunrise or Lil Angel Gwen Stefani.
