What would be cool would be if I could get the AI to actually just play the game for me. So I could just sit there and watch it kill everyone. I could even go AFK with the knowledge I’m still winning. Eventually everyone would have this and it would be my AI against their AI and I’d just invest in the best possible processors to maximize my ability to win. It is already out of control in PUBG, and they are not really doing anything about it. I have gotten to the point that I almost no longer even want to play the game, and am seriously thinking about quitting PUBG all together. You can't even play a casual mode match without being mowed down by some blatant cheater, and keep getting killed by the same ones over and over again.

Damn so since the sound effects in PUBG are pretty awesome safe to say blips on the map could be placed from where u hear shots are coming from. Kinda like COD when u have radar, red dots pop in and out when people shoot. But its a bit early to tell if this will happen. Furthermore, spotting the enemy is one thing; aiming is still another.

PUBG and GTA are the only multiplayer PVP i still play. While GTA is already way worse in terms of cheaters, the reason I play it is to go after them and piss them off. The nature of GTA allows me to do that. But with PUBG is different. And if these things manage to get it into the state that Tarkov is, I may quit PVP gaming entirely, and only do PVE and single player.

AI can't combat this unless the monitor's activity is shared. The AI in the monitor is reading the screen and listening to sounds to tell you where the enemy is located, it is not pinging the server for this information.

Unlike several commenters, I am less concerned about the visual audio cues.That's because I've always felt PUBG's reliance on sound location makes it pretty exclusionary for hearing-impaired players who can't accurately distinguish sounds, particularly directionally. In that sense, it seems to me to be more like assistive technology, same as the colourblind settings. (Of course, if you can train it to pinpoint exactly where the shooter is from the precise volume of the shot as well as direction, that's another matter entirely.) Where it really feels like cheating is if it can pick up enemies off-screen who are silent, or precisely determine at really long ranges what's a player versus a bush, or a player in a bush, or exactly which window the sniper is at when he isn't peeking, etc. If it just instantly points out the snaking player in a ghillie suit, for example, to me that's cheating and certainly flattens the gameplay, taking away so much of the tactical side of the game. And all of that seems possible with monitor-end AI training.

I used to work for a company that used exception based software to find people that were stealing. It worked by looking for data that fell outside the normal ranges. I would think that things like that would increase your K/D ratio and other data. I assume they have similar software. The real problem is trying to prove someone is cheating. So you are right about PUBG having to use ai to combat the problem

Possible anti-cheat technologies from game and monitor manufacturers and gaming platforms such as Steam come to mind: (1) Cheat monitors are excluded from the game. Detection by specific device or power characteristics, similar to how you can determine the TV program of a household by the power consumption or power frequencies of the TV. (2) Alliance of game and hardware manufacturers for a new anti-cheat standard (similar to the "Intel inside" logo now "AI Anti Cheat inside") (2a) AI Anti Cheat Chip in monitors Perhaps an anti-cheat chip or firmware in the monitor that uses AI to check whether additional elements are displayed as a HUD that the game does not actually have. An AI detection system based on a new hardware extension in the monitor, a new standard that is automatically updated by the Alliance in a similar way to virus definitions. You would have to work out the difference between which visual representations in the game are actually intended by the developer. Everything that does not belong to the library of graphics or game sequences is recognized by the AI. (2b) AI anti-cheat chip on graphics cards or in the monitor cable Perhaps there is an alliance of graphics card manufacturers for a new chip on every graphics card for cheat detection, which hardware-supported marks all added graphic elements as suspicious. Above a certain detection threshold, the player is blocked. Older graphics cards could be retrofitted with defined HDMI / DisplayPort cables including an AI chip that does the same thing. (2c) For sound cheats via AI monitors, the sounds defined by the game developer could also be synchronized and all undefined data streams marked as suspicious. (3) Safest but most inconvenient solution: Every gamer needs a webcam An adapter is used to attach small cameras to the sides of the monitor, which use AI to look at the screen and detect whether graphic overlays are suspicious. (4) AI brightness sensors on the monitor Maybe it doesn't have to be cameras. Perhaps brightness sensors in the form of sensor strips that recognize whether there are suspicious changes in the display are sufficient. This can be purchased as a frame and attached to the monitor and connected to the PC via a defined interface. Later, there may be integrated AI sensors that are already placed thinly in the monitor in the side edge of the monitor frame or even integrated directly in the LED layer as a separate layer in the monitor, which monitor all image processes of the actual image LEDs from the outside like a camera, with the advantage that they sit nicely in the monitor.

It works because in League of Legends there's a mini map in the bottom corner that shows where all the players are so that's how it knows where they're coming from it's not going to work and something like PUBG and be able to tell you that there's a player behind a wall or hasn't even shown up on your screen yet. With that being said you probably could train it to detect extremely far away players that you can barely see or players off in the distance that are showing up as only a few pixel and could barely be seen by the human eye

Train it enough, and it will be able to highlight players in bushes in cover just because it detects parts of their body. You missed them? don't worry, the monitor will highlight its area for a second or 2 so you have the time to take measures.

lol how would you know what monitor they're using? just spoof the device id to the operating system. or even if you have software that can bypass the OS, just stick an intermediary device in between that will register as a different monitor but pass the signal on to the real monitor. Or even if you could figure that out, have a camera sitting in front of the player looking at the monitor itself and run AI on the images being captured, and then pump that info onto some sort of screen overlay -- now you have the same form of cheating but completely out of system, your gaming device would run clean.

PubG Mobile and Arena Breakout do have some visual indicators, but only in the very close environment. The reason is because many mobile players (kids) play without any headset or with bad sound quality (no headset, only mono speaker, or with family talking and making noise). Therefore devs help them. Other players with a regular and good headset have to accept that. But it‘s very controversy. Desktop gaming: - 99% have a headset or stereo speakers - often more serious gaming goals - much more hardware ressources to run additonal ai equipment AI cheating monitor can do much more as visual indicators in pubm. Just imagine… It can detect enemy from every distance and mark it. It can detect armor, weapon, … everything no matter if it is only a few pixels in the far distance. It can save a history of all places where you have died or where enemies have often been detected and then calculate risk probalities and warn you.

MSI is essentially easing in a universal pay to win system, maybe gen X will even come with a subscription. There is also this scary Cheating Method that is legitly undetectable tho, I've seen CS GO videos about it. For example for aimbot, you stream your video feed to another PC, then use any cheats on the second machine, that sends you the inputs back to a spoofer and then back to your machine. The video describing this better is titled Aimbot Cheats Are Evolving. Sadly, not only competitive online games are affected by this; GTA V Online is by far one of the shittiest games out there, and their anticheat system is just as basic as: Hello, are there any sus files in the game directory? Nah? Cool, all good to go; never have to check again. modder injects mods at runtime *Mindblown Meme tier 4 insert*

IRL the USA spends as much on its military as the next 9 countries combined. Is this cheating? I will give you an example that correlates with this video The USA developed Echolocation for its mobile infantry vehicles. An array of 7 microphones was mounted on a rod on top of a vehicle. It was hooked up to software that was trained to detect all Armament sounds fired. It can detect the round type, direction it was fired from, and distance. This allowed the column to return fire. NEXT it was put on all vehicles and integrated into the panels. NEXT it was integrated to link with all blue vehicles in the column so that any on vehicle could control any gun from any vehicle using an Xbox type controller. Finally the controller was removed and the system would target on its own allowing the fire control officers to just hit a yes or no button to return fire. This would send a volley of 2 or 3 rounds from each gun to the location of the incoming fire. Now this is very handy but it gets better because now you don't need troops in the vehicles. They can drive themselves or by remote. A Core Support Battalion CSB can send supplies to FOB's without putting a life in danger and if the enemy fires on the column it can send a wall of 20mm shells in a moment. So, is the USA cheating??? Only the USA has this technology. Other countries could develop it but they would have to know WTF they are doing and spend billions. You can just buy this monitor. No need to develop it yourself. Stark Industries will sell you one giving you this echolocation type of advantage. Can you afford it and is it worth the expense? Kind of makes this FPS survival game more realistic. Makes less like a game though given that most games have a level playing field or do they? Monopoly seems legit but there are strategies to learn so a smarter player with more experience has the advantage. In basketball a taller player has the advantage. In football the stronger lineman has the advantage. Some games give the advantage to those who have more time to practice, to those who have more brain power, to those who are born with more height, etc... Some players can afford a better mouse so is this cheating? a better refresh monitor? faster graphics card? Higher ping rate internet? gadgets for their controller with more trainable buttons? It will give an advantage for a time. An old military saying from a few thousand years ago said be careful if you use a new weapon on the battlefield as it will be used against you in 15 years. Today that new technology will be used against you in a couple years time. Welcome to the real world.
