I do stuff like this with backup oline backup dline. And another thing is do not upgrade a player on a contract year until you negotiated the new year. I usually have 8 oline. 5 starters 1 backup tackle 2 backup guard/center. Same with dline I run a 3-4 so I have 4 “starters” 2 versatile backups and 1 project. But with the titans a good backup to try sign for 7 years is Aaron brewer. I usually have 1 backup on multiple years and the other 2 are guys that are just holding a depth spot for me

I came online to find a legit way to restructure..can’t believe u can’t restructure contracts at all until the last season.. I will be taking advantage of the tips since Madden can’t get this right after so long.

Is there a way to get rid of a cap hit aside from editing a contact... Like an existing bad contract

Okay watched this and the change of position or the so called "punter signing" daring the season you can not change position that far. Example LG can be RG or RT or LT but not punter. So that one has been gone since 2008 unless Madden changed it back but up to 25 it has been gone.

When you edit the contract it try’s to make it like $3000000 over or something stupid. Like you can’t just edit it no more if that makes sense.
