Wish I said this to others but at the same time I wish it was that easy because America right now you can basically watch your wife cheat right in front of your very eyes take a few pictures in the court will basically give her everything that you worked hard for or even just give her half and that’s not even fair to the man. Like literally I watched men weep I’ve seen men lose everything because of a woman I’ve seen men try to climb skyscrapers trying to prove their love and prove their dedication prove everything that they got in a very big to a woman I seen them bag I’ve seen them crawl I seen them walk all down the hall and every single time it will lead to either one thing or toone he will basically hang himself by his own news because he proved how weak he was or two he takes the highroad and then lose half of everything that he ever worked for but then there’s a third option he works and works and works and works until his blood dead! That’s the law of this….

She literally made a conscious decision to sleep with that other man and then had the nerve to try to explain it. The fact that she went along with those people is crazy to me she knew that they were into that crap and she participated not even thinking about her husband and her vows wow. Just do yourself a favor she said she felt single at times because he works so hard and isn't there wow divorce her there's no amount of therapy that's gonna make you feel any better cut your losses and move on so that she can go sleep with what ever man she wants.

It sounds like OP is trying to justify his wife's cheating. I think the reason she told her husband was because someone saw her with AP, and she was afraid the husband would hear about it. I am waiting for the open marriage proposal. She likes AP. Every time she sleeps with her husband, she will be fantasizing about AP. OP is weak and deserves everything that happens.

The ONE THING that makes a gal gain attraction to her partner is when her partner gets ATTENTION from another woman. That's when the "cat claws" come out, and she thinks about how SHE could do better and what SHE'S doing wrong in the relationship. Her partner becomes "The Prize", not her. This is the way it needs to be!!! This doesn't mean a guy acts like Phil- flirting with other gals. It means a guy keeps fit and exudes confidence. Other women are attracted to him, and give obvious glances and approach him. He's the "best-looking" guy at the pool party. He's the most attractive man, decked out in his formal attire, at the gala event. He's the man whose gal gets approached by other women and told how lucky she is to have him. The number ONE reason a gal will cheat is for ATTENTION and VALIDATION. They crave the "chase", and give the s-x as a reward for "good behavior". The good behavior, on her part, can be a guy continually flirting with her... all while knowing she's married or involved with someone. What happened between Meg and Phil is a perfect example of this. Meg's husband has lost her attraction while Phil, being more fit and attractive, obviously gained her attraction on the trip. Meg actually lost enough respect for her husband that she actually thought he might be ok with her admitting she just had s-x with Phil, and it wouldn't affect their marriage. That's how little she really thought of him. It's sad, but true. She thought SHE was the prize... and her husband should count his lucky stars to know she'd still come home to HIM after being with another man.

@blacksunday423111 ай бұрын
What is the country of origin with these stories? I'm talking about the authors, because they don't seem American with the way the implement "going out dancing" in all these stories, especially the part where the wives just casually dance with other dudes like it's nothing. Unless it's some ballroom or salsa dancing, that's not a thing in the US. The only dancing is at nightclubs with young singles, where they bump and grind on each other.

My wife would go to Pilot's conventions, an all female business organization. Very little partying and mostly all business. No worries. When I worked for a university, I went to conventions before and after I married. Had some wild times before marriage but after marriage I took my wife to conventions and used them as vacations because they were at resorts. No hanky panky with anyone but her.

MC should have halted that BS the second she brought up she was dancing with other men. He should have said I guess I am filing for divorce tomorrow. A wife does not go on dates with other men, drink with other men, or dance with other men. Simp stories are a waste of time and data.
@blacksunday423111 ай бұрын
There's too much "dancing" going on in these stories. What are they 40 something year olds hitting the damn nightclub? And they make dancing with other men as married women sound so casual and nonchalant. The authors clearly aren't American because the only "going out dancing" culture here is nightclub culture amongst young singles.

He confronted the AP and it was also made clear he had cheated on his wife prior and he apologized they had survived. They made a plan for her to thwart advances during the conference but ultimately she made a terrible mistake. He forgave her for several reasons and she forgave him for several reasons for what he had done years earlier. That’s not a simp.

I've been seriously studying infidelity after my ex cheated on me and I wanted to understand how it happens. One thing I've learned is that basically everyone who cheats believes they never would. They get lured in and worn down until they give in to temptation (it happens faster if alcohol or drugs are involved). There is always a zone in the process where they could have said no, but they didn't because they believed they would be able to say no later. But they overestimate themselves on this point. You have to say no when it's easy, not when it's hard. Catch it at the very beginning. This story (though fictional) matches this perfectly. He warned Meg and she didn't listen, and only realized he had been right when she had already cheated.
@AJaydedArtist11 ай бұрын
Yep. One of the hardest things to deal with after being cheated on was coming to terms with the fact she's not evil or malicious just flawed and naive. Very few cheaters are actually malicious and seeking to hurt people in my experience. Doesn't make what they did ok but it does make it easier to deal with on a personal level. At least it did for me
@draconisdragonheart424811 ай бұрын
Doesn't Stacy have a right to know that Meg slept with her husband? Is Meg mentally challenged because OP surely didn't expect her to take responsibility for her actions? This story turned into it was all PHIL's fault. Last time I checked it takes two to tango.

Once a cheater always a cheater just the way it is. You have just brought more pain your way by staying with her. Meg would've been in the rear view mirror. You have more balls than I do Paul would've been nursing broken jaw if he wasn't dead. This is just plain stupid no one needs to listen to this story it's just stupid to forgive something so private as her body. I bet if the roles was reversed she would've divorced you

Thankfully the husband has sense and thought about how to resolve the underlying issue rather than just reacting to the consequence. A marriage takes work constantly, getting complacent is very dangerous and can lead to major mistakes. Unfortunately a lot of people forget to date within their marriage or struggle with communication towards spicing thing up. This is a great story about the importance of communication, understanding/reflection and growth. Another great story from LLC and without the need of a red head... Good job
