Cheboygan Salmon

We were in Cheboygan, Michigan, for our regular September trip in 2017 when we happened to visit the Cheboygan dam at the right time. Kids were fishing and hooked this beautiful salmon barely in the gill plate. Because of this - and I also believe it was mating season - they could not keep this fine fish. It was funny though, because when they were bringing it in, adult men fishing the dam were jealous and asking them why they were not in school and such... It was actually teachers' day or something. But my mouth was watering.
