CHECK YOUR ENGINE OIL FIRST! If low then refill oil! If light comes back on, then its just the knock sensor..will cost you around $200 to fix.

How much did it cost to have it fixed from the Honda Service Center, if you don’t mind me asking. I’m curious because I have the same issue today. I have an appointment to take it in, but I’m just wondering approximately how much it will cost. Thank you!!

@@DestinyJauregui my issue was not quite this, it was an even easier fix. I took it to the dealership and they only had to realign the gas cap, which trigged the “check emission system” warning. Thankfully it wasn’t anything serious, (less than 40 ish bucks I think and they waved the diagnostic fee). Hopefully your issue is the same, but if it isn’t fixed by realigning the gas cap, take it to the dealership. They might have a thing where they charge you a diagnostic fee to see what the error is, but if you get it fixed at the dealership they’ll wave the diagnostic fee and just charge you for the fix, I hope this helps!

I have honda civic 2015, the Check engine Emission thing pop up, i found your video and it was the Black tube thing that was cracked, i bought new one and it was OK until 2 weeks later that Check Engine Emission thing came back, today i am going to the mechaninc guy who is fixed, i hope it the knock sensor or the Spark pluges,

Did your call turn off at all? Or did it pull when changing gears? Were you able to fix problem? I’ve been having the same problem with my 2015 Honda Civic.

If it turns off check the coil packs

I was going through the same issue, I have Honda CR-Z 2011, I changed my spark plugs and it went away for about a year and now my check engine light has come back on

@@g1ucon i ended up replacing my front upstream 02 sensor , it sits right beyond the spark plugs... the first time it did nothing as i bought a cheap 02 sensor and it was only giving around 11.2v where like a denso sensor gives 14v... after getting a $80 denso 02 sensor it never came back and i get better gas mileage as well. you might be able to let your old sensor sit in carb cleaner for a few days and get a bit more out of it before it builds back up.

Except the red light do you have another problem in driving before you fix it...thnx sorry about my english..!!!!i have the same"check emissions" in my car renault megane 2007 and does not work very well,not so much power...

Nope, no sound, nothing.. we can drive normally its just the light.. after changing the knock sensor it appears to fix the issue until now thankfully..

If you’re losing power it can be your catalytic converters are going out or you have a slight misfire which could have caused the cats to go bad

On my 2016 Civic the problem was the fuel pump, they charged me $1,100 for changing it 🤒🤕
