Girl.. you are carrying a heavy load. If you're not in therapy, you should start. It's nothing a person that's not a licensed therapist would be able to do to help you deal with your grief. Even if you go just to cry sometimes, I think it's well worth it. Being strong is not a compliment to me. Nobody should have to be this strong, let alone a woman.. much less, a pregnant woman. I'm not a parent but when it comes to dealing with Riley, I think the best thing you can do it keep it real with him. At 8 years old, he can comprehend your sentiments. Sit down & have a long talk to find the root of his misbehavior. Then tell him how you're feeling & how much him misbehaving is affecting you. I think kids are more apt to change when you're direct with them. With all that being said, I feel that you'll be just fine in the long run. You gone look back & wonder how you got so far. But it's just a matter of getting there.. & I believe you will. & you'll find all the answers to all your 'whys' in time. Just stay the course, pooh 💕

I haven’t lost a child but I do have anxiety and depression. I started going therapy earlier this year to get my feelings out. I have no other release. I don’t drink or smoke. When I don’t want to talk I have a journal where I just write what I’m feeling. My 6 year old has been disrespectful these past couple of weeks. I had to sit him down and ask him what’s going on. His response was he doesn’t get the same attention as the baby( had a baby earlier this year). He also didn’t know how to express himself. He also said he doesn’t like when me and his father yells at him. Needless to say communication is helping. I’m learning to be more patient and communicate in a way he understands.

I know this might sound super weird but you are grieving beautifully. Yes you are supposed to grieve and crying is therapeutic so continue to let it out. I absolutely love the real, the raw, and the transparency ❤️ although what happened with Emmy was a very unfortunate event, you are still soo strong and handling this so well. I’m very proud of you Reedy. I’m beyond happy for you with your new blessing. You are very deserving 💚

Thank you for your transparency, it will help/save more people that you may realize. As far as Riley, like you said, he may be dealing with the loss of Emmy and don’t know how to express it. If you’re open to it, look into getting him therapy or an outside person you trust to speak with him about his grief. Praying many continued blessings and peace over you and yours 🙏🏾♥️

I lost a little girl at 3 months old last year. I understand your pain that little girl that's inside you is your rainbow baby. I had a baby girl 6 months ago. Its hurtful. Trust me I understand. Be grateful that you have people that check on you care about you. I dont have that anymore everyone is more distant. I also understand your coping, I'm there right with you. Be grateful and thankful I'm telling you. People like me that went through what you went through wish they had a little support. This video helped me understand that I'm not the only one feeling this way.

Thank you for sharing. Crying is therapeutic and seeing you let go allowed me to have a moment of release. Losing a child feels like a moment that can never be healed. Speaking on using alcohol or smoking to cope is sssoooo real. I would say “Stay Strong” but you’ve been doing that, you know how to do that. I hope in the moments the pain is the worst you can find peace in your thoughts to feel peace in your heart. 🌈🤗🥰

With Riley he could be going through something like Emmy just as much as u and what I can say about ur parenting is be less strict bc the more strict the worser they get and even more sneaky and another thing is the strictness can stop a child from telling u things that need to be said bc he’s scared of the way u would react … but sorry reedy that ur going through this better is coming sweetie

Grief counseling for the family will help and take alot of pressure off you as well sign Riley up for sports or Marshall arts classes i thin he will like it and it will teach him how to channel his anger
