I don't normally manage to get many job lots, but I was lucky to grab one and wow, it's best one one I've ever seen. Over 30 teams and most are not your run of the mill popular sides. Hi there I love my subbuteo I'm now age 60 and I still have my subbuteo years ago I play the game in my bed room and I'll be playing in the snow ❄️ I used talcum powder all over the pitch so it looks like snow I love it as well

Floodlight edition was my very first subbuteo set, I got it for my 7th birthday in 1979 along with a stand. Almost bought a tear to my eye because I remember getting it so well.

What a find! Well done and thanks for posting. To think I once had all that kit myself, floodlights (that were weaker than a torch with no batteries!), fencing and TV tower, none of it necessary but great to have. I did a lot of repaints myself even though in those days Subbuteo could keep up with kit changes easier than they'd do nowadays. Thanks for sharing and 'caring' about this great game

Just seen this. My first set was the Floodlight one and i got all of my teams from the same camping & sports shop in Balham High Road in the late 70s. Was probably there at the same time as this collector. So many great memories and similar teams. Mine were more used than these though!

Love the mentality of appreciating that stuff is good despite (because of?) being worn and used. I definitely like that some of my boxes have writing on them, and clearly the figures have seen a lot of use. I know this is an old video but I'm enjoying going through them all pal.

@@garypritchett8136 I got lucky. I rarely buy job lots online, unless they are close. Word of month plays a big part I know people who collect other wears and we all kind an ear out for each. But mostly it's luck

Team Ref 83 - Twente Enschede is pronounced "Twen-tay En-shay-da" in English. In the Netherlands they are simply known as FC Twente, and Enschede is the city they are from, it's in the east of the country near to the border with Germany. MVV are MVV Maastricht, who are currently in the Dutch second division.
