Hmm I would be concerned about the Velcro wearing out ?

For the knee block? Many saddles have Velcro knee blocks and they hold up well... but I don't move mine often.

I find the smart saddels very interesting. I would be interested too see more information and content with them. For example with differently shaped horses, like with very wide shoulders or a very cury back and how you would adjust the saddle.

Yes for sure... wide horses usually no shims.
