As a frequent traveller here's a tip. If you upgrade your ticket or intend to do so, then never do it at the airport counter they'll always charge more. Buy economy tkt and wen its few days away from ure flying date, upgrade online, you'll save at least Rs. 3k to 5k. Plus, for international travel, you get to take more luggage beforehand since your baggage allowance increases. You may also use your points to upgrade, which is pretty much FOC.
