I still remember when Jhanvi Kapoor and her younger sister visited our watch boutique at the Grand Hyatt Dubai in 2010, which was about 15 years ago. Both of them were young kids at the time. They were chatting with each other about various things, such as “So-and-so uncle has this watch” and “My friend's papa has this writing instrument.” At that point, I wasn’t aware that they were the late Mrs. Sridevi’s daughters. For us north Indian eating rice, daal or anything liquid with hand is considered uncivilized. Only Roti or bread is used to scoop up vegetables or curries using hand and that does not involve dipping all your fingers in food. I felt nauseated seeing Janhavi's hands. I could feel kavya's discomfort. Yes up north we eat idli sambar using a spoon and dosa even using knife and fork like you would for pancake. Cultural differences apply to both. Janhavi was rude to her guest by suggesting using hands to eat.

Many feeling she is natural and honest, but is she ? She said her moms favourite movie as "Mr India", coz it was produced by her dad, whereas there are movies like Chandni, Laadla, Lamhe, Sadma, Chaalbaaz which are brilliant too. Also, she said people approached and called her "are you Sridevi Kapoor", now..nobody would call her with surname. She is too loyal to her father but needs to be honest and genuine for her mom . Jhanvi is such a sweetheart no fake smiles fake expressions n not even fake accents. She’s been brought up so well and she won my heart when she said that she eats Maggie noodles w her hands. Why all these facades when you can be such loving warm person like her..? Even the rest of the Bollywood so called celebs have a lot to learn from her. Everything she says comes directly from her heart and that’s what needed. The best part is she even respect her servants well, unlike other celebs who doesn’t even know to respect the nannies of their kids who take care of them when they’re away. As person from South india ( kerala). Having chicken curry with idli, dosa, appam is really normal, tastes amazing and a nice combination. Maybe people from north find it weird because for you guys it's a new info. But trust me most homes in South who are non- veg definitely tried this combo.

I’m from Karnataka and we have idli with chicken curry at least once a week for breakfast. Kamiya don’t call something weird just because you don’t know. U better do research before hosting a food show. Idli/Kadubu/Kadumbuttu is very popular in the malnad, mysore and kodava region of Karnataka and it is very popular in Tamil nadu also
