I have a BN project tractor that I am thinking of putting my spare SA engine, torque tube and hydraulics on, or maybe my C-153 swather engine if I want more challenge in fitting ! But it will still have narrow front because I like narrow maneuverability and they are more rare than wide fronts up here in the great white north !
@hm124602 жыл бұрын
1:19 Yes, quite wide and it is a BN. The B is even wider.

I wonder if someone put a Super A front on a BN. However, I think the touch control may be right as the controls are different than a Super A and they look factory. The Super C may not take as much work to get running as you think. The tires look good. Those are the kind of tractors I like to buy. We use sickle mower to cut hay. The difference between the 4630 and 4640 is like the difference between the 1466 and 1486. Newer series. The difference between the 4440 and 4640 is like the difference between the 1086 and 1486. Different size. I'm not familiar with that era of John Deere, but I know that much.

The Farmall B is a small one-plow row crop tractor produced by International Harvester under the Farmall brand from 1939 to 1947. It was derived from the popular Farmall A, but was offered with a narrow set of centerline front wheels instead of the A's wide front axle, allowing two-row cultivation. The operator's seat was offset to the right to allow better forward visibility.

@guydaubenspeck92062 жыл бұрын
Well fellas I have one of each a BN and the c. You'll be in got the bad last summer is either junk it or rebuilt it so rather than haul it down to bergs and Harmony we decided we'd rebuild it I have more money in it than I could have replaced it with three at the time it was built nearly four but it was kind of a family tractor and I didn't hold Uncle bought it was always playing around the tractors it's the last one he bought and he died before he got it restored so he left to me and in honor him while we restored it. We're going to show it at the Butler farm show next week we're hoping and planning to have a set of cultivators that we use on it completely restored and repainted according to international specs and have them mounted on I started yesterday afternoon after church to put the parts of the frame back on the tractor and we're going to have about a half day's work this week we did the same treatment on the cultivators and we are hoping to show them side-by-side at the show. We run an antique tractor show there within the farm show that's as good or better than a lot of these straight up old equipment shows you see around the community. You're welcome to come see us we have our own binder and we gather the grain for the threshing machine here in our place we got it we got it cut and bundled yesterday and it is now on the grounds and we'll be setting up here toward the end of the week with everything else

We had a new 4640 with hyd front wheel assist. We had them run it in the Dyno before we brought it home and it was turned up to 185hp. The 4630 had the 404 cu in engine and the 4640 went up to the 466 cu in engine. It was a pulling machine. .

I saw an interesting video on a tractor called The Cajun Queen. It was a 4020 used as a pulling tractor they wanted to get more cubic inches out of it but couldn't get a 531 to fit. So he developed a 466 engine using International Harvester Pistons and a 404 block. John Deere was very interested in that engine. Check out the videos will have more accurate details on what I can remember. I think Cajun Queen 4020 would probably get you to the video. Current state of the tractor it has been put back to factory original and is used to all s***.

The newer International balers are much better. The 37 was much better. John Deere always did make a good baler. Their round balers are awesome.
