Most of the H’s I have bought over the years tend to have 12.4-38 rears and 6.00’s on the front. With that said, I know it should be 11.2’s in the rear, and 5.50’s in the front. It kills their road gear a bit, but it really helps out with plowing. That’s just my experience though.

There is a good selection there. I'd love to have the MD but they sure bring a premium around my area. That last cub would be probably what I would bid on currently as I am in need of a mower. LOL

We just bought a W400 diesel which has the same engine as that super MD. The gas start diesels are very neat and fun to operate. That MD will look great in your red shed!

I said yes from the start! I watched my neighbor pull out a large beaver dam almost in one shot when I was a kid. That was the first tractor I ever drove when I was 10. I have had many more practical antique tractors but always longed for my A purely out of sentimental attachment. But I needed to stumble on the right one... at the right price. Not so easy here in NY. Well 3 days ago I went to look at one again (I've looked at a bunch over the years, as I am now 50). Anyway... she was the right one, as she followed me home the same night. The seller actually wanted me to have her so bad, he delivered her for free. Did I mention she fired up almost immediately AND has a hand crafted hydraulic lift system run off the PTO! She is quite the specimen! Couldn't be more happy! Thanks for your videos!

According to the serial number, that 140 is a 1961. They're a fun/ hard working little tractor. Sure are some great looking tractors.

140 looks like it was a 60s maybe 63 or 64

Had a 1972 140 with a Woods belly mower, we used at the farm. Didn't need it anymore, so spent some money to fix it up, new paint. Yeh, spent almost 3k and finally sold it for less than that. With all the new compacts and zero turns, they not that desired.

The farm I worked on in high school had a gas 656 with a cab.... not near this nice tho! What a machine. I love the little 140 too

Those are some good looking tractors. The 140 is a later model. Probably after 1968 as I think that's when they rebranded them as International Farmall rather than McCormick Farmall. Also it has the new style grill which IH introduced later on in 1963.

You didn't know what you're missing. Looks like a blast to me. It's a great time mowing with that set up. Corners are fun as heck. I don't want you to over spend getting it, but.....

You need to get an old Cub cadet international garden tractor. You can find them for free just about anywhere. Most mine were free. Buy that old super c back. It’s a beaute
