@romanbennett85782 жыл бұрын

@bucksnortbumblefuk6872 Жыл бұрын
@Roman Bennett 4k psi is a decent amount when it comes to hydraulics. Especially the length of hose running down the boom arm. Pressure drop I'm certain. Also to flow 50 gpm you'd need roughly a 1" hose, 1 inch hose rated for 4k psi at the min is stiff as f. (Gpm x .3208)/area = velocity ft/min There is a range you need to stay in to maintain laminar flow.

Just bench racing the specs, the Case/NH TV620B has less horsepower but it looks like it lifts higher and more weight assuming all the metrics are measured the same way. The ASV seems more suited for forestry (or whatever else uses a lot of hydro attachment power)and the Case is more of a dirt work machine.

Jon You are my Hero. A 2001 Chevy C-8500 Loved the Look of Chevy and GMC Dump trucks. They are that market bitch. For NOT having to have full size. Their 6 Yard dumps are so impressive. I ran a GMC 6 yarder back in Late 70s. It had the 4-71 Detroit Diesel. 5 speed with 2 speed rear axle. That Diesel had so much power. Just a month ago I rented a FORD F-600 6 yard Dump. It had the BIG V-10 GASSER. I understand why Ford put those GAS engines in. It was for the FLEET company to have a PROPANE fuel converter to meet emissions standards for fleets. BUT boy NO power coming up grades on hill driving. With a full load of 5/8- gravel. The GM product always had more POWER than the Ford's for that bitch in say 5 yard Dumps. My uncle had a F-600 that I pulled a 580-C Case backhoe with. The big GAS engine. It was a slow pull on any grade. That GMC just was a beast with that Detroit Diesel. Never any power loss with full load.

So knowledge is power what you did not know before you have a an insight now I have not always agree with you just like I don't always agree with my friends we all have our own mindset I don't tell my friends and they don't tell me that we disagree but these are my thoughts I really appreciate this video you asked every question as I'm watching I'm a minute ahead of you and I want to ask what about the track system what about the glass what about the weight and you were spot on and I find that a lot in your videos when you've done the trailer videos dump trailers and and hauling trailers and specialized trailers like the one with the well we call it the feeder trucks it's on a track conveyor system and you showed one I want to say it was the same but I had a push guard from the tongue of the trailer to the tell of the trailer I believe that carried three pallets but when I do pavers my pallets are at least twice that high even when I do walls the pallets I get are twice the height that I saw on the video so I question not how you dealt with them but what is their true capacity what is the manufacturers' ability I am here in California the dealer we deal with is in San Luis Obispo named Air Volt Block so basically was that trailer at its capacity because picking up three pallets of paver material is usually standard you ordered and have delivered the greater majority but picking up your cut brick order to say another way the brick you're going to lose when you go to cut you're finish you always eat more brick then sorry this is getting kind of long but we always throw it on a flatbed trailer that has a double axle so we have to bring two empty pallets to put over the wheelbase so we can carry three pallets of paver so a trailer that feeds itself and unloads itself with some sidewalls is so much safer than are redneck get it done system

I have a full dedicated video on That trailer where I unloaded the pallets without forks . I ended up buying one 😃 myself. so hopefully I can answer and show you more details on that

Still not sold on the under carriage. They are not known to last in the wv shale and limestone. I would like a long term demo to put it up against my takeuchi. Great video though.

I have been running my ASV for 3 years in dirt, snow, rock and whatever kind of conditions we find with no problems.
@joshuaplacka84802 жыл бұрын
@@Dirtmonkey I understand that I’ve been a fan for many years. My concern is the type of rock we have versus what you run. No doubt they are great in snow and yards. We do heavier work. Just to many moving parts on the under carriage and sift surfaces. There has to be a reason as to why there is not a dealer within 100 miles of our location. Like I said maybe a long term demo would change my mind. I didn’t like Takeuchi when I bought the first one. Now I’m a fanboy lol. I’m definitely not brand specific.

It looks like the tyres on the road wheels can be replaced, this could be a selling point, especially if this could be done with the track/ wheels in place. That way you could replace the torn up ones as required to maximise track life and, more important, when a track does eventuially need replacing it can be fitted to new tyres to maximise service life.
@Dirtmonkey2 жыл бұрын
Yeah- they can be changed out anytime you need

Mixed emotions for me lol i Love the Cummins power since it can be serviced any place with a C on the building. Just dont care for the Cat front door even though they did make the side views much better . What i have seen of the CNH machine its going to be a much heavier one if they add the steel track to it like i was told. Engine wise i would put the FPT Iveco up against the cummins any day . FPT iveco engines will make great Torque and do well on fuel more so than a cummins on fuel usually. And Back when the FPT Iveco engines were starting in the US they did work with cummins on the engines . Still waiting to see what Deere is going to do i know they have a Big CTL in the pipeline and with Yanmar Buying ASV that means Deere will go their own route on engines at some point
@Dirtmonkey2 жыл бұрын
Good points but I think its easier to find service and parts on cummins than Iveco
