it doest lift high enough to do a standing(comfortable) transmission job and why would you unbolt your lift?... bad idea. close to useless.

Well since we’re not a mechanic or transmission shop, we use it for removing and installing bodies, brake upgrades, suspension upgrades, draining fluids, wheel and tire swaps, etc. We have a set of anchors in our clean shop and our body shop so we can use it both places. We unbolt the lift to move it either out of the way when not in use or to move it from one shop to the other, the premise behind the lift itself.

@@smithson_speed i can appreciate using that tool for installing bodies... and clear floor space is both tidy and useful.. i suppose ultimately if you are happy with it then thats all that matters.

I think that is the stupidest design. Portable? just bolt it down? That is in no way portable. Doesn't look safe either. Moveable is what it is. I can do the same thing with a regular two post lift. Use it out side or at another location and I might call it portable. All you will have to do to make it work is make it non portable.....by bolting it down.

Well first, portable and movable are synonyms. In case you don’t know what that is, it means they have similar meanings. Secondly, you’ve clearly never taken down and/or installed a standard two post lift. I can guarantee you they aren’t the same as we installed both of ours. But hey, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion so you can keep thinking it’s stupid while we keep putting it to good use 👌🏻

@@smithson_speed Why don't you just look it up in the dictionary? Then tell me how smart you are. Port it out side and drill holes in the ground, And by the way, My shop has two post lifts and we don't move them because you would have to unbolt them. I'm not a genius like you but I can read the dictionary.
