Vastly overpriced and unaffordable housing, identikit town centre, anything that was interesting to look at was bombed in WWII or demolished in the 60s, and it's expensive to get the train into central London. Best thing about Watford is the Palace Theatre. Oh, and the M1 to Luton Airport.

Yes, you must pay... I think it was about $500. If I did my math correct I probably spent about $2,200 Canadian to get everything together to get to Steiner and get through 5 weeks of training. Now I'm on the Norwegian Getaway!

Many said Hertfordshire is one of best place to settle. It looks beautiful to me too. If ppty price is affordable, it's all the more attractive

Go north, well away from Watford, and you might find some more affordable and scenic areas. But Watford is too close to London to be affordable. And it is absolutely not an attractive town.

It's a suburb of London for sure. Think the train and the bus took about 30 min. I was mostly stuck in Watford so it seemed like it was a different place. Much smaller of course.

Essentially yes. It's not a London borough, but you're only a few miles from the London border.
