Trick to that squirrel cage fan is just take the bracket holding the motor loose the pull out the screws holding the motor together then the windings will slide off. Just leave the rotor attached to the fan.

Another fantastic video bro. I've often wondered why scrappers deal with the annoying washing machine drain hoses. It seems like it would be a benefit to cut them off when getting them. I know that's easy to say from my comfy couch in Georgia ( USA ). Let us know in a vid sometime if that's something you would consider trying.

I was just looking at your trailer and I reckon you could put a small piece of Marine Ply bolted down on the A-Frame and you might be able to put an extra dryer or washing machine on it. Y also need a bracket made up for your trolley on the outside of your cage so it dosen't get in the road of the scrap. Just a thought. Hit the kerb last night in a thunderstorm, we will see how much I get this afternoon. Happy Scrapping Brad

Hi don't now your name so will call you Poly. Lovely to see a new scrapper to follow. like your area. I see your missing out on some items. you pick up fans and you put them with the scrap iron. the motor in the fans are worth a lot more than steel or iron. The micro waves, I note that you miss every time the small motor on the back, they all add up. you always leave the small pieces of scrap, worth finding a place for them all in the trailer. Like that you want a new trailer double wheel, it would be perfect for you. Anyway keep scrapping, your doing great. will always follow you. There are a few regular youtubers I follow these are, and worth looking at what they do. No 1. Canadian Treasure Hunter, No 2. Vid Vulture. He uses a scooter for collecting scrap. Also he is always on the look out for Books, the books are paying out very well. No 3. Mike the scavenger. It might be worth looking at having a reciprocating saw, cut through metal like butter. Thanks' for reading this. Danny H. Davies... my FaceBook name.
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
Hey Danny. Some great advice here mate. I have space and time constraints so I often sell small fans as scrap steel. Similar to vid vultures philosophy, I much prefer to cover more ground. Sometimes digging out light iron doesn’t seem worth the time and effort. At the end of the day though, I generally get a good load of scrap steel, a bunch of non ferrous, and a bit of footage to make a video. Thank you for the encouragement 🙏🤙
