Great Aulani vlog, thank you! We will be there this summer. My son also has a tree nut allergy, will have the epi-pen nearby. We fly Alaska Air, they don't serve nuts. Nervous about the macadamia nuts everywhere in Hawaii. Thanks for the heads up on the Monkey Pod restaurant, sorry to hear your son had an allergic food reaction there.

Fantastic video as always! I was a bit surprised by the prices in the store, especially since I'm in Australia. When I converted to Australian dollars, the cost of obviously more. For instance, our strawberries are around $4.50 AUD.

We are staying at Aulani in August. Preferred seating is not available for the Luau during our stay. How’s the general seating situation? Or is there something else you could recommend with just a show but no meal. Our son is very picky with food and if they are not serving chicken tenders at the luau it may not be worth the cost.

I personally don’t think general seating is a bad thing. We had it the first time we went in 2020 and we could still see the stage.

Your airplane routine looks familiar from our past with my son's food allergies. I'm especially sorry to hear about your restaurant experience. That's every food allergy parents nightmare. I wanted to ask if you have looked into the So Cal Allergy Food Institute. We went through the program and now my son freely eats the 10+ foods to which he was previously allergic. They have patients from all over the world that go through their program.
