How about a wire coat hanger? Put the handle through the opening. It doesn't have to be tight, just enough to hold it in place. Twist it around the handle or hose, and hang it on the fence. It doesn't look nice, but it's easily transportable.

Awesome! Nobody wants a mud puddle around the watering hole😁 Though wild puppies use mud to clean the oil buildup from their coats, it dries then they roll in the grass & it all comes off leaving them nice and clean except for maybe a few green stains, lol. They could go swimming to get the mud off to. Hey, how about a pool for them to cool down in summer? Uh, maybe you wouldn't want to be "the pool cleaning guy" though😕 Love the clever auto shut off nozzle❤❤❤ Maybe those thick giant zip ties to hold them? One around the hose & 2 on either side going through the one on the hose or handle then the fence?
