My key is very worn. Is there a cheap way to replace the outer shell? I havnt come across a cheap refurbish kit yet

Not 'cheap' but I found a second hand glass key housing for £250 (because it had a chip out of the glass) and moved the guts of the plastic key into that. Now I only use a glass key and keep the original glass locked away

@@DanS443 Tanks for the answer. Good to know the "guts" are interchangable - a question the official Aston dealer could not answer. Not due to unwillingness but they just didn't know

Wow....for once the good old Ford Ka key on a cheap volvo key fob is a better option.
