Texas City Dyke, 5.34 mile long, multiple boat ramps both sides. Used be a marina/store at the end but never rebuilt after one of the storms.

Thanks for the video. I live in the Houston area and been going to Surfside with my son looking for new places to go. I think I'll do the Texas City Dike next. As an aside, I am 52 and been fishing since I was 6 and have never seen a game warden. I've never broken a rule and always been licensed so I would like to get checked once just for the satisfaction.

How are your spider weights not getting stuck on the rocks. Was at the dikes maybe 200 yards from that spot last Sunday. Lost two spider weights to all the rocks.

I make a little loop where the hook goes on my leaders so that way I can put one of the claws there. It makes casting easier!

The ones I've dealt with in the Sabine Lake and river area have also been quite reasonable and seemed actively interested in knowing if there was information I could give them to help other fishermen and crabbers, since I do things a little differently than most. Once they verified I had a license, they couldn't have been friendlier.
